My tv won't power on after lightning struck
Check the fuses on the power board. there is one fuse on primary side and one on secondary side.
Take of back panel and follow plug into the tv.where it ends is the power board.always use caution.the capacitors in there hold high voltage even after unplugged for a couple of days.Discharge capacitors before servicing the board.

To connect your TV with laptop, you have to buy one VGA to VGA connector cable. Connect this cable to computers' VGA out ot TVs VGA in. Now you have set the computer to TV, in case of video only. To get audio from your TV, you have to connect the audio out of the computer ot audio in of the TV, which can be located very near to the VGA socket on the back side of your TV,OK.

I connected a sony playstation
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/audiooutput.html
Adjust the audio output on your playstation and the television depending upon how you're connecting it to the television for picture and sound.
For an hdmi cable between the television and the PS3 only then adjust the audio ouput to hdmi on the PS3.
You do not need to connect anything else between the television and the PS3 besides an hdmi cable.
If you are using the colored plug type component or composite cables then it is av.
If you are connecting with a fiber optic cable to a surround sound system then it is set to optical.
Depending on what television you are using you would also have to change the Playstation to 48khz/96khz

Sound is out of synch
Try software update first, go to the manufactory website download the software. If doesn’t help, replace the main board. I think your TV is on warranty, call for service will be good.

When I turn it on it has a blue screen
You need a new main PCB. If your TV is less than a year old, it is under factory warranty (it may be 2 on this product). You should then contact the store and ask for a service contact number (I suspect 1800GEEKSQUAD due to the fact that this is a BestBuy store product). If it's out of warranty, you can find the part here
http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/INSIGNIA-756TQ9CBZK04800-/756TQ9CBZK04800 it will set you back $125. If you need further assistance regarding the part installation, let me know. I will try to write you a step-by-step. I hope this helps.

New tv won't turn on
If it is new, please take it back to your dealer to check replace. It must still be in guarantee period if it is new.

My tv has a fuzzy
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. The fuzzy lines are due to loose connections on the HDMI cable connection. Try using a different HDMI cable as the cable might be cut or stripped from somewhere or its internal shielding might be cut. If replacing the cable doesn't help then it is due to faulty high definition converter IC on the tuner board. You might need to get the OC replaced. Try and run the tv for 4-5 hours continuously and check if the lines disappear, if yes then it is due to burnt resistors/capacitors on the tuner board.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
