Why don't you use the original one? Universal remotes provide just basic function and not full range.

You have to use a digital adapter box for your TV. The government was subsidizing these boxes to citizens who did not have some sort of cable service. You can pick one up from the store for about $40. Connect your antennae to this box and then this box to your tv. Antennae--->box--->TV. The box will adapt the local stations in your area that are now being broadcast in digital form to your TV. Hope this helps.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. THE MAIN BOARD, usually is a 3vdc-3.3vdc signal to turn on the power supply

Insignia... | Answered on Feb 03, 2013

ok, when you plug in the set, does the power light come on? Assuming you ordered a power supply in good working order, you may very well have a faulty main board. The power supply produces standby power that the main board uses to power the standby/power on light. Your main board also uses the standby power to provide the "ON" signal to turn on the rest of the power supply.

does the light stay or blinking and how about the screen display totally black or a white screen. you can see in a dark room if their is a white screen. if totally black screen then with sound the cause is could be bad inverter board or screen back light. if a white screen it was the t-con board not working good.
