My kenmore electric stove keeps beeping F 1.what
Hi
Error
code F1 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens
due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly
itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and
then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range
Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would
be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable
is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert
the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still
there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.

My Kenmore electric stove keeps
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F2-E0 error code indicates an open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the temp.sensor needs replacement. If you want to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Oven does not heat, setting
Does the Broiler Work? Make sure you have 220 Volts to the Oven. Take the 220 breaker and push if all the way off and then snap it back to the On position. If the Broiler works and the bottom elements doesn't get hot you have a element out. They are not to hard to change. Shut power off to oven and take the screw out at the back in the middle of the element and the elements pulls out and then unhook the wires and replace with a new one. If you have a volt meter you can OHM out the heating element. You should get a buzzing noise if it is good. The other part of the equation is the temperature control that could be bad so use your Volt Meter to do some minor checks before you start replacing parts. Hope this Helps!

HOW TO CONVERT FROM NATURAL GAS T PROPANE
Their are 2 types of ranges. Ones with sealed burners and ones that do not have sealed burners. The sealed burner ranges must have a kit to replace the orifices. The none seal burner models are simply called crank down and flip models. That means you flip the screw on top of the regulator to where it reads LP. and then you tighten down the spuds on the top burners and the oven valve and then you adjust the air shutters.
Note: Some stoves with sealed burners cannot be converted to LP. The model number you posted is not a correct model number. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Oven power failure with code EO-F2-
How can the
"E0-F2" is a short-keypad error. This usually is an indicaton that the Electronic Range Control (ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced.
The ERC, also known as an Electronic Oven Control (EOC), controls all the features of the oven, clock and timer. This is your clock/timer assembly on the control panel. The following link explains how to replace one:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3727366-replacing_control_kitchen_range
A replacement control board can be purchased from any of the following websites:
searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com
Prices vary between sites, so shop and compare. The first three sites listed also have helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you with locating and properly identifying the parts you may need.
NOTE: In most cases the overlay (preprinted plastic display covering with all the numbering and lettering on it) does NOT come with the control board. If your overlay is still in good condition, it can be easily removed from the old control board and reapplied to the new one. Just make sure you properly orient the overlay so the buttons all match up. If you need to replace your overlay, you may need to order it separately. Read the part descriptions carefully to see what your replacement parts include.
If you have any questions, please post back with your complete MODEL NUMBER (located on a nameplate around the oven door, or lower drawer opening) and let me know. I hope this helps you.
NOTE: You may try UNPLUGGING the range, remove the back panel and check all the board connections, first. Disconnect each plug on the control board one at a time and check to ensure the connections are not corroded and there are no broken wires. If the error code returns, you will need to replace the control board.

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E1 in your Kenmore range indicates shorted keypad. To resolve this issue you'll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the Electronic Range Control (ERC) that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks

Kenmore range code f1 e2
F1-E2 - UL A/D Error(s) - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).

Oven wont lite. broiler is ok. why?
Hello- Gas ranges have ignitors that light the burners. The lower burner is accessable by removing bottom pan in oven. Ignitor is held in place by two screws. Connector is plugged in behind bottom drawer. Check resistance of ignitor - should be 4ohms or higher. Sometimes they just break. New part available thru local app. parts. 50-75$. Be careful installing new part- ceramic ignitors are fragile. Take your time- toughest part is reaching in to do work. Hope this helps.- Thanks- ED
