On the L. side of the keyboard there is a slide switch. It should be in 10 or 12 not PS. Slide it up & down a few times they do get dirty. DickyO

Try a shot of WD40 on the silver shaft that the carrier slides on. DickyO

Gently pry off the return key, make a small spitball 1/8" or so, push into the small square hole where the ret.key goes. If this doesn't work you will have to remove the key board and clean the key contacts. DickyO

Type to the stopping point, press the margin release key space to the desired location, press R. margin key.

To get a smaller font or type size the printwheel would need to be changed.

Try it without the lift off tape they nsometimes jam the printwheel.There may be a broken wire in the harness about 1" from the carrier.DickyO
