Dear friend , you guided about Brother printers not for Panasonic . There is no any option key on the panel of Panasonic kxmb1900 .

Loading Paper
1 Adjust the guides to the position for the paper size you are using.
2 Fan the paper well.
Push down the paper lever. Load the paper (with the lever down). Make sure the print side is toward the fax machine and the paper level is stacked below the paper mark. The feeder can hold up to 200 sheets of paper, or up to 10
envelopes.
Acceptable Paper
The FAX/MFC can handle paper that has the following specifications.
But please note that you can receive fax messages only on Letter, Legal and A4 paper. If you use legal or A4, change the Paper Size setting: (Menu/Set, 1, 1.)

Hi,

This error means that the memory capacity of this device has exceeded, Memory is based on 5% industry standard, if the document is being scanned more then that, it will affect the memory and generate error.

If you get Out of memory error while scanning then press STOP/EXIT to cancel scanning, If you get error while scanning subsequent page then press FAX START to transmit the page that were scanned so far or you can STOP/EXIT to cancel.

Replace the drum unit.

unplug machine hold down the stop/exit key. plug back in (hold down stop key for 5 seconds)

Have you changed the Drum unit. Also there is a cleaning pad that you slide across the corona for cleaning. If you leave it in the middle it will give a black line, should be moved all the way to one side.

On Brother machines the baud rate is set automatically during the handshake with the other machines, turning off the ECM usually helps when you are getting a lot of communication errors.

These is a manual on line. Go to the official Brother website and it will direct you to it. I forget the exact link, but if you go to the site and can read you will be able to get the manual. It's over a hundred pages long so I didn"t print it out, but I did find it so I know its there. If that doesn't work for you smash you fist into the front of the machine, or even your head.

Slam it with your Fist, Hard! Kick the piece off the desk and jump up and down on it. **** on it!!

Take the cartridge back out. There are little contacts that allow the machine to know that the toner is in. Check to see that these are making contact between the cartridge and the machine itself. unplug it to do a hard reset too. Or smash it with your fist over and over to jar loss any poor connections!

Unplug power cord. Plug back in. Call your fax machine from cell phone and listen for fax tones.

Sounds as if the tel line is not connected. 1st check with a telephone, see if you get a dial tone. If not then call the tel company

Hit the clear button with the front door open. this i believe is to clear drum counter. just follow the directions that came on a piece of paper with the drum.
