NOT READING BROTHER CARD
Is card damaged or dirty. You may need to replace it. It like any other cd or computer accessory. If you soil it forget it.
WHY IS MY THREAD WRAPPING AROUND THE BOBBING IN THE SHUTTLE WHEN I PRESS START
THE BOBBIN HAS ONE METAL PART ON TOP AND ANOTHER PART THAT KEEPS THE BOBBIN FROM MOVING FORWARD. TURN YOUR HAND WHEEL AND WATCH WHICH PLACE DOES THE THREAD GET STUCK. IF IT IS THE ONE ON TOP THEN IT WILL NEED TO BE RAISED SLIGHTLY BY MAKING A PULL WITH NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS. (VERY SLIGHT) IF IT GOES UNDER IT BUT STOPS AT THE AREA WHERE THE LITTLE INDENTATION IS THEN YOU WILL NEED TO LOOSEN ONE OF THE SCREWS AND SLIGHTLY TO ALLOW THE THREAD TO PASS BY. THE THREAD HAS GOT TO PASS THESE AREAS OR YOU WILL NOT SEW.
The bobbin thread is not
try a new needle
make sure the bobbin is not warped
make sure the bobbin case area is free of lint or loose thread
make sure you hold the upper thread tail while it's going down to pick up the bobbin thread
make sure there is a 2 to 4 in tail for the upper thread to grab
Brother pe180d thread bunching up underneath
try changing the needlerethread the machine top and bobbinmake sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin caseand that the bobbin is turned the right waymake sure the thread has not come off the thread take up leverif the machine continues to see bunch thread underneath then the machine may need to be checked to see if some part has becomedamaged or out of alignment
