Williams 3003622 Ceramic Wall Mounted Panel Heater Questions & Answers
Re Williams 3003622 Heater Please advise how to
You will first need to turn the control knob to pilot. Then depress the control knob button and hold it. Then press the push button piezo igniter several times until pilot lights or open pilot inspection cover and manually light pilot with match/lighter. You may need to hold the control knob for at least a minute. Then release the control knob and if the pilot stays lit then turn the control knob to on. If it does not light then repeat the process again.
It is a Williams circa
That hole should only be a problem, if a strong draft comes thru and blows the pilot out. But that hole may also be for match lighting the pilot in an emergency. The older models like yours, had that feature. Check it closely, before you decide to block off the hole.
Hope this helped you.

Try jumping out the thermostat (red and white wires) that run to the thermostat these tell the heater to come on. Jump them together if you have heat it is the thermostat, if no heat it is the furnace. Should it be the furnace I would first check the thermocouple or some manufacturers call it a flame generator. Clean this with steel wool and position it in the top center area of the flame as this is the hottest part of the flame. Good luck
Williams 3003622 Wall Mounted 30,000 BTU The pilot
I'm having the same exact problem... At first we thought was the vent... but the way the flames goes out... it seems that there is "not enough oxygen" more than "blown out by the wind"... right after both main & pilot goes out, I can't even light any external flame inside the chamber... and it doesn't feel like the outside cold air coming in... it just feel like there is some sort of gas in the chamber that's so strong, it prevents flame... and the only thing I can think of is that it doesn't have enough oxygen, but too much natural gas, and flame can't sustain.
Burnham boiler pilot light goes out when
That unit uses a thermocouple 30mv or a pilot generator of 750 mv if the thermostat is a remote type and not integral to the gas valve.A thermocouple or pilot generator makes power due to a temperature differential across the tip of the generator, if too much is impinged by the flame the generator gets hot across the entire tip, dropping power output. You likely need a new thermocouple they are about $15 and easily replaced.
Hello i have a williams
What you have is a Direct Vent, Gas WALL Heater. It is normally mounted about 6" off the floor on an exterior wall (since it has to be direct vented out). Not sure what the red and white wires are for, but suspect it's for the optional thermostatically controlled blower connection.
In any event, to help you install this heater properly, I have included a link to the Owner/Installation Manual, which should provide all the information you need to complete the installation correctly.

Pilot not lighting.. If I take off the coupling
If you're not getting gas to the pilot, it may be that the pilot tube or the pilot is clogged. Or when you turn the Control Knob to the Pilot position and push it in, it's really not in the pilot position. In which case, if the knob doesn't bottom out and you don't feel strong pressure pushing back at you (more than just spring pressure), it's not really in the pilot position. Turn the knob a hair one and then the other until you find it. Then try lighting the pilot as you should, If it lights, hold the Control Knob in for at least one minute, ease off and if the pilot stays lit, turn it to the ON position.
If all of the above fails, you may need to replace the Control Valve. It's fairly rare that they go bad, but it can happen.
Hope this helped to solve your problem.
I keep hearing clicking sounds
That could be metal stress when the heater heats up and then cools down. If it is that, in time it will cease, once the metal has been full stressed. However, if it continues a long time, the burner may be overheating. Keep an eye on it, for now.
Heater is a couple of
clean pliot first should be a strong flame blue in colour , if this is done and it still goes out the it pionts to the thermocouple
Heater wont shut off when it gets to tempature. it
See if the thermostat wires are pinched somewhere, becouse if the red and wight wires are touching it will call continuously,if there not touching somewhere you have a bad thermostat and need to replace it.
