My needle keeps falling out
Have you changed needle type? Is the needle lock screw out far enough to allow the needle to go up high enough?
Unable to buy needles
Hi, can I suggest that, if the machine was purchased near your home, that you contact the supplier for some information / support in finding needles. If you have tried this to no avail then try you enquire with a sewing machine supplier as to compatible parts...there must surel, be some that fits which is made by another manufacturer.
How to remove light bulb cover Viking #1+
look on the left side of the machine and see if you see a little round plastic circle, very very carefully use a screw driver to pry it out , there should be a screw to unscrew and the side should come off so you can replace the bulb. if you will send me a comment with the complete name and model number, I'll see if I can find you a manual.
Raise feed dog
I have a different model Viking with a feed dog button to the left of the power button. When it's pressed down, the feed dog stays in the "down" position. Press it again to bring the feed dog up.

How to set bottom and top thread center of material
Hello
It sounds like you are trying to balance the top and bobbin thread so it locks perfectly. If so, this is accomplished by balancing the thread "tension". If you see loops on the underside of the fabric, tighten (increase) the tension. If loops for on the top, lower the tension.
If the fabric is puckering: reduce the stitch length AND you may need to use a finer needle along with finer thread in the bobbin and on top.
Presser foot pressure is rarely adjusted, unless sewing with extremely variable fabrics. For example, pressure is lowered when sewing with silk chiffon as it transports easily under the presser foot (and to prevent damage to the fragile fabric). Whereas pressure is increased when sewing with tent canvass to allow the feed dogs to be able to 'grip' and move the fabric.
Happy Sewing!
What does it mean when it says main motor overload please wait
If it's a Huskylock Serger it means the machine is in a "bind," possibly think fabric, etc. The motor is "overloaded" and shuts down. If it continues after serving for a short time on normal fabric the motor needs to be rebuilt or replaced. See a local Viking Service Tech for repair or motor replacement.
If it is a Sewing/Embroidery Machine it may still be an issue with the motor but could also be the main control board or power supply. Again see a local Viking Service tech for repair.
Husqvarna Mega Quilter. After using the thread
sometimes the cutter doesnt leave a long enough tail to start sewing, and the needle wont pick it up, use a diferent thread in bobbin, sometimes thats the issue, or manually extend the thread from the bottom and then start sewing, it will pick it up then
