I believe the Fresia does not go to the left.

You need a US to UK transformer if there is not a voltage selector switch on the unit. The motor however may not like being connected to a 60Hz electricity supply. Best contact the manufacturer.

There are two different motors for the zigzag and feed mechanism. It is unlikely both failed at the same time. It may be a circuit board or cable problem. You need an expert.

When set on a straight stitch using the stitch width button will change the needle position. If you have moved it far to one side you can use the mirror image to shift it to one of 25 positions.

This site is very confusing, so I'm not sure if this will get to you, but when you put the bobbin on to wind it with thread, you have to push the little post it sits on over to the right to wind it. When it's full, it stops turning and you have to push it back to the left to get your bobbin off. Hope this helps! Do you have a manual? Go to the Husqvarna shop and buy a bulb, they know which one... Might as well bring the machine with you, they will put the bulb in for free, (you will have to pay for the bulb of course...)
