Audiovox 2-way 14 channel what is the frequency for these radios

It won't matter which frequency you run these on as long as they match and you have a clear signal.

Two known causes of squealing when the radio is put under a load (such as when the PTT is pressed) are a low or bad battery, or being too close to another radio.

Hi, squeaky sounds a likely caused by bulged capacitor inside the radio or the internal speaker.

If otherwise transmitted is faulty, this will require a skill personnel to handle it, cause it will need opening the transmitter for troubleshooting to detect the faulty component inside the transmitter.

Take care.

It sounds like you have some corrosion on the terminals. Remove the batteries and with a good light source look at the springs and plates to make sure there is no corrosion. If there is remove it with crocus cloth. Check the batteries also for corrosion. If you find any remove it the same way. If after cleaning everything the batteries still will not charge get new ones as you probably have one or more which are shorted.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the generous rating.

How long do you charge the Audiovox GMRS1072CH

On Audiovox's 9V 250mA ( not certain) suggested charge time is 8hrs, but if you pop the batteries out of the back and stick them into a dedicated battery charger you can usually have fresh batteries in 2-3hrs.
