Hey there, I don't know if this will work, or if it's even the issue, but I've had all the same issues at one time or another, and every time it was the same easy fix. Got to the back of your machine and put your hand on the motor and see if it moves with a wee bit of pressure. If it moves about, then that is likely the problem. Find the bolts or screws that allow you to adjust the swing position of the motor. You'll want to pull it toward you until there is just enough pressure on the belt to allow all the mechanics to work. Too much pressure will add premature wear and tear on your belt, as well as other moving parts. Hope this helps. Let us know if it doesn't, someone else may have some ideas:)

The needle may be slightly bent. Try changing the needle. Check also to see if the throat plate has moved slightly due to vibration. Unscrew it, take it off, clean around it, clean any lint under it, then reinstall.

Is this a home machine? There are many of the manuals online at Jukihome.com I didn't see this model #. They have one for an HZL-272 that might be similar

Have you tried pulling gently on the thread coming up from the bobbin? If this doesn't give, the thread may be tangled around the mechanism (under the machine, where the bobbin fits). Open that section and you should see if there is excess thread wound around. Clear this, and when you put the machine back in place, gently hold the bobbin thread to assist in not having loose thread to tangle again. This sounds like my machine sounds when that happens to mine so I hope this fixes it.
