What size bobbins does the necchi machine take?
Look at your manual, if you do not have one, take your bobbin with you and ask a sewing machine dealer. They normally stock all sizes and will sell you the right one. I tried to look it up online but could not find the exact size listed. Good luck

I just bought an old Pfaff 206 and the machine
since you bought it used, if it is timing then a service tech can fix the problem.
& also since it is used having it serviced will give you peace of mind that everything is working correctly.
also after it's serviced, let them sew on it in your presence so you can see it's working properly, after all your paying for it to be fixed, & you should be allowed to see them sew on it after it's serviced.

check the needle to see if it's damaged-roll on flat surface to see if it rolls correctly & also check the tip of the needle to see if it blunt or broke
check the bobbin to make sure it's not warped
make sure to keep a thread tail 3-5 inches when sewing
check to make sure the bobbin is inserted in the bobbin case correctly & the bobbin case is put in snug
if these suggestions don't work it may be that the timing is off & it would have to be serviced

If you go to sewusa.com you can buy a manual for $10 plus shipping , it probably will be worth the money. You have a very good machine and should last for years. All metal and considered a workhorse, I have an old workhorse myself and do not want to part with it because I know that one will sew anything, sometimes the new ones are too light to handle heavier projects. Good luck with your machine, and if all else fails take it in and get it professionally adjusted, you will not be sorry. Like anything, they get old and need a little tlc occasionally, as we all do.
Machine feels like it is bound up neddle will not
Normally this will be caused by lint/thread caught in the bobbin/hook area.Remove the bobbin case, push the two fingers (about 4 and 8 oclock positions) that hold the race cover on, and then remove the hook. If it will turn now then your good. Clean the area out, put a couple drops of oil on the hook and reassemble it.
Bobbin thread will not pick up
Ensure the bobbin thread is mounted on correctly and using your right hand turn the gear that makes the needle go up and down until it catches the thread.
