The thread will be threaded in a clockwise direction on the tension control. Pull the thread until there is a tension on the spring. There will be a catch on the thread that you will notice this. Now, thread the machine in the same way that is normal. It should work. Make sure you start your tension at four to test how it is doing. From there make slight changes in tension. it's a normal size sewing machine, probably about a 14 3\4 incheslong by 4 3\4 inches wide.

try www.sewusa.com there are threading diagrams for some Necchi models. even if yours isnt there the bobbin should be similar.

if the sewing machine is not sewing & staying in one spot the that means the feed dogs are not working properly.
I also have a necchi sewing machine, check the needle plate area that's where the feed dogs are, if the feed dogs are up where you can see them & even feel them with you fingers when you rub your fingers over the needle plate area, if you can't see them good or feel them, then they are not up,,my instruction book shows that you have to remove the extension table, their should be a small door in front of the needle plate area to open that's where the feed dogs are if they are not in the up position, where you can sew, if they are in the down position move the lever to the opposite direction & see if that help the machine to sew, if it make makes no difference which position there in , then it's possible something is wrong with the feed dogs & the machine needs to be serviced

let me ask this,,
have you tried a new needle?
is the needle inserted correctly--if there is a flat side to the needle it should be to the back of the machine & pushed up inside the needle holder as far as it will go
is it the right size needle for the fabric & thread?

if you check all these things & none of these things help then it's possible the cams or gears that do the zigzag stitch could be worn some.which means it needs to be serviced

if you have a snap in sewing table remove it first
at the bottom in front of the needle plate area is a bobbin case door
when you open it there is the bobbin case & also should be the feed dogs
always keep the bobbin area clean of lint or loose threads
take note of how the bobbin case is inserted in the bobbin area,, see where the thread tail is at on the bobbin case
then make sure the bobbin is wound correctly or it can cause sewing problems
reinsert the bobbin into the bobbin case the same way it's removed

Perhaps you have a bent needle? Change the needle, make sure the size of the needle matches the fabric you are working with. Use a size 90 or 100 for Jeans, and a 70 for lighter weight fabrics.
Change your needle frequently! A professional changes after each project, you could get away with 2 or 3 projects. And when you start sewing make sure the threads are under the feet, to the back of machine, don;t start at the raw edge, or you have a bird nest real fast. This is because your machine as an oscillating rotary system. (going back and forth and not in circles) Those systems are more sensitive to jamming. Sorry I could not help you earlier.
