Necchi Q132A needle postioning dial doesn't work

If the needle positioning dial is not working on a new out-of-the-box Necchi Q132A sewing machine, it could be a manufacturing defect or a loose connection. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the manual: Make sure you are following the correct steps to use the needle positioning dial. Refer to the manual and double-check if you are using the dial correctly.
  2. Check the connections: Open up the machine and check if all the cables are securely connected. If any of the wires are loose, reattach them carefully.
  3. Contact the manufacturer: If the above steps do not solve the issue, contact the manufacturer or the seller from whom you purchased the machine. Since the machine is new, it should be under warranty, and they should be able to provide you with the necessary support or even a replacement if needed.
  4. Take it to a repair shop: If the machine is out of warranty, or you prefer not to deal with the manufacturer, take the machine to a reputable sewing machine repair shop. They will have the expertise to diagnose and fix the issue.
Remember not to attempt any repairs yourself as it could void the warranty or cause further damage to the machine.

Can't get my needle to tighten in my necchi nc204d

It sounds like there may be an issue with the needle clamp on your Necchi NC204D sewing machine. The fact that the needle falls out when you try to tighten it suggests that the clamp may not be holding the needle securely. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Check the needle clamp: Make sure that the needle clamp is tightened properly and that the screw is secure. Also, make sure that the needle is inserted all the way into the clamp.
  2. Check the needle: Make sure that you are using the correct type and size of needle for your machine. The needles that came with the machine should be the correct size, but it's good to double-check.
  3. Check the needle plate: Make sure that the needle plate is clean and free of any debris or burrs that could prevent the needle from seating properly.
  4. Check the needle alignment: Make sure that the needle is aligned properly and that the flat side of the needle is facing the back of the machine.
  5. If the problem persists, it's best to contact Necchi customer service or a professional sewing machine technician for further assistance.
It's important to note that working with a sewing machine can be dangerous, if you're not comfortable working with it, it's best to get it serviced by a professional.

I have a Necchi 3355 and the stitch selector is stuck. Please help.

Hi, Please add a bit of some olive oil (or similar oil) to shafts and areas of your machine that facilitate the selector's movement. This should lower friction and allow for movement. Thank you.

The upper tension popped off my Necchi 3101FA sewing machine and I do not know the order these parts need to go on

Basic Tips for All
  1. Always turn the handwheel TOWARDS you (counter clockwise) as turning it in the opposite direction (away from you, clockwise) may knock the timing out requiring repair from a service center.
  2. Always be sure your presser foot is in the DOWN position before sewing. Sewing with the presser foot in the up position will cause your thread to tangle and your bobbin to jam.
  3. Change needles regularly (after 16 hours of use) as dull/weak needles can cause damage to your machine and fabric. Only use SINGER needles on your SINGER sewing machine.
  4. Always be sure you are using the correct bobbin for your machine. Class 66, Class 15 and Class 15J bobbins look very similar. However, using the incorrect bobbin class in your machine can cause damage.

Have a Necchi 534FB. The hand wheel does not turn the needle bar, belts are loose. What should I do???

The is usually an adjustment to tighten the belts by moving the motor. There are other ideas here, clutch, the knob in the handwheel or the screw in the needle bar.. https://www.google.com/search?q=Have+a+Necchi+534FB.+The+hand+wheel+does+not+turn+the+needle+bar%2C+belts+are+loose ..

Where can I get a necchi 519 sewing machine manual or can you tell me where to oil it

Manual in Italian (Google translate helps): https://manuall.it/necchi-519-macchina-per-cucire/ After the machine has been wiped clean with a rag, apply a drop of good oil to every movable part; to the bearings of the lower shaft (to which the shuttle carrier is attached) and to all other shaft bearings of the machine. The various oil holes in the machine indicate where the oil must be applied. Sewing machine oil is a white mineral oil, meaning it is clear and has no smell. The oil has a light viscosity and will not collect on the machine's gears.

Hi, my Necchi Rossi 200 sewing machine will not sew. Brand new out of the box, the booklet says it is set up to start sewing. I have rethreaded the bobbin and machine and it will not sew. When I press the foot down I can hear the machine mechanism going but nothing is happening? When I press the foot down it sounds like bobbin is being wound even though it is set up sew. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Sounds like a fancy new machine. I am not directly familiar with that machine, but I am very familiar with the same problem in Vintage mechanical machines, and perhaps most of it will have a counterpart to resolve your problem. 1. The first thing to check is the mechanism used to Lock and Unlock the Machine drive train when a Bobbin is being wound. (A) On much older machines, this is usually a knob located in the middle of the Handwheel, Turn one way to engage the power train, and turn the other way to disengage the power train. (B) On slightly older machines this is located in the same place (center of Hwndwheel), but is a Push-Toggle mechanism, push one part in and it disengages the Drive Train, used when winding Bobbins, push it back to Normal to re-engage the Drive Train, so the needle goes up and down again. (C) Your machine may be similar to one of these, or if it is far more electronic, then there is a special Switch or Setting to do the same thing. Check your Owner's Manual to see how your machine engages and dis-engages the Drive Train that makes the needle go Up-And-Down when you sew, or not go Up-And-Down when you are winding a Bobbin. Since this Bobbin winding option involves disengaging the Drive-Train, if it gets damaged or worn out, it disables your machine. For this reason, I do not recommend home sewing machine operators to eve use the Dis-Engage feature when they are winding Bobbins, just be sure the Presser-Foot is in the UP position. The Needle going Up-And-Down won't damage anything for that short while. 2. Another area to check is the Bobbin Winding mechanizim. Be sure it is disengaged so ther is no drag on the machine. On the newer machines, maybe even yours, the two mechanizims to Start and Stop the Drive-Train and the mechanizim to re-wind a Bobbin are inter-connected, meaning one may trip or un-trip the other. If this is the case, then all you would have to do is dis-engage the Bobbin Winder, and . . . PRESTO ! . . . your problem is fixed. Hope this Helps you fix your machine that runs but does not Drive the Needle. Sincerely, Amender, 2020-DEC-03#

My Necchi Alco A709-5 sewing machine suddenly is not able to sew a straight stitch.

If you haven't removed the top to clean and oil the cams then likely they are stuck, hence zigzag.
