Sew D'Lite 11401 Mechanical Sewing Machine Questions & Answers
Don't know what the blue buttons on Sew D'Lite are for.
The top one with the bobbin on it is for winding a bobbin. When you press it the bobbin winder spins around. The bottom two are for if you don't want to use the foot pedal. The second of these two, which has a O/I sign on it, makes the machine stop and start. The one with the snail and the rabbit controls the speed.
I want to get the manual for the sew d'lite

Bottom stitching loose
If your bottom stitching is loose ie looping it is normally the top tension that needs tightening. Just adjust the tention on your cotton on the top front of your machine. Hope this works.
Not creating a complete stitch
The needle may be threaded from the wrong side. Newer models thread from front to back of the machine, older models will thread from right to left, It is usually determined by the positions of the needle eye. rethread the top, if this does not correct the problem thne rethread the bobbin, use the instr manual to make sure it is correct.

I have a Viking Topaz 50 the touch screen is totally un responsive. Will an update reset it? or is it just bad?
Even if the touchscreen is unresponsive, you can still update the firmware using the spcialized software of the manufacturer. If it was unresponsive AFTER that, you would have to take it to a repair center. If you have difficulty with the general instructions which follow, try Viking customer support.
Here are the general steps to update the firmware:
Check for Updates: Visit the Viking website or refer to your machine's user manual to find the latest firmware version available for your model.
Download the Firmware: Download the firmware update file to your computer.
Connect Your Machine: Connect your Viking Topaz 50 to your computer using a USB cable.
Run the Update Software: Install and run the firmware update software on your computer. Follow the instructions provided by the software to update the machine's firmware.
Wait for Completion: The update process may take a few minutes. Ensure that your machine remains connected during the entire process.
Restart the Machine: After the update is complete, restart your sewing machine to apply the changes.
