Dell c1760 printer paper jam but don't see any
Hi Randy,
I am responding to your question you asked four years ago. Today I had the same issue with my Dell c1760nw printer. It would say open the rear door to remove the paper, but i couldn't see any. Using a flat screwdriver, I snapped out the 1+ inch plastic pieces (three of them) and exposed a pair of screws. Then take off the rear door and remove two other screws next to the hinges-holes for the rear door. Now you can snap up the top piece that ll you need is to lift it to expose the fuser area. You should now be able to see possible left over piece(s) of paper. Carefully remove the pieces and avoid touching the fuser. That's all to it.Putting all back together should be easy using common sense. I found a single piece of paper just above the fuser in the enclosed area. I removed that and the printer was back to normal. i hope this helps you or someone else.
Grinding noise
I just chatted with Dell support about this since I have the same problem of the grinding noise on my C1760NW Dell printer. I have it plugged into an APC backup battery which acts like surge protector (unless power goes out then battery kicks in). He said the printer needs more power and that surge protectors and battery backups are not good for this printer since they restrict the power which sends less power to the motor and fuser than what it was designed for. So with less power from the APC backup/surge protector, the motor moves very slow and may not fuser the toner to the page correctly and can cause permanent damage over time. So I plugged into the wall directly instead and the grinding noise went away immediately even when printing 10-15 pages right after plugging into wall, but then the noise came back when I printed a bigger job. So for now I'm letting it cool down for a couple hours and crossing my fingers that the damage is not permanent. So... answer is plug it into the wall directly for maximum power and hope that your printer is not permanently damaged. By the well, Dell support chat was awesome.
Paper stuck in printer
The best thing to do is gently try to remove it, without tearing it and leaving chunks behind. A pair of tweezers can be a great help. Some printers have a "feed" option to manually feed the paper. You might want to try it if your printer has the facility, feeding will turn the rollers and potentially release the paper. Be careful and check direction of feed as it could just as likely make the problem worse if it feeds the paper further into the printer.

RE: Vibe USB Turntable Model:
your choice of "Vibe" turntable could have not been worse.
Any serious Vinyl collector would not use such a cheap piece of equipment.
You Get What You Pay For is so very true in this case.
