You will need to replace the registration clutch. It is slipping causing a delay in feeing.

This code indicates a fault with the Fuser Unit/Thermistor or PS-PCB and should not be reset until the fault is corrected.

You could try resetting the fault as follows but this may damage the machine further.

Turn the copier off, while holding down the Size Select Key turn the copier on and keep it pressed until the copier shuts down.

Setting the Time Zone

1 Access Time Zone.

If you are unsure how to use this route map refer to Accessing Menu Items on

page 3-3.

2 Press arrow keys to select the time zone that you are in.

3 Press Enter. The message display shows Completed and returns to the Date/

Timer Set. screen.
4 Press right Select. The message display returns to the basic screen.

NOTE: Periodically check the time that is shown in the message display and adjust

as necessary to match the current time.

display the correct value then press arrow keys to move to the next field.

5 Press Enter. The message display shows Completed and returns to the Date/

Timer Set. screen.
6 Press right Select. The message display returns to the basic screen.

1 Open the top cover.
2 Open the front cover.
3 Lift the process unit, together with the toner container, out of the machine and place it on a clean, level surface.
Do not stand the process unit on end and never expose the drum to normal lighting for more than five minutes.
4 Pull the lock lever towards to the UNLOCK position then pull the toner container release lever to the right.
5 Gently remove the old toner container. Put it in the supplied plastic bag and dispose of it according to local rules and regulations.
6 Shake the new toner container horizontally 5 or 6 times to distributed the toner inside.
7 Remove the orange protective seal.
8 Align the knob on the left side of the container with the groove in the process unit and insert it. Push on the PUSH HERE marks until the container clicks into place.
9 Push the lock lever back into its locked position (away from you).
Clean the charge and registration roller.
Refer to Cleaning the Charger and the Registration Roller on page 5-4.

when machine is on hold down stop key, start, left exposure. release them and press start. display will show U000. self status. key in 163 and press start twice

the machine does not have duplex capabilities

go to the simulation by keying 1087 1087 and then key 21 to initialize
all memory

Open the top door
While sliding the blue lever, pick the used cart out.'Shake the new cart well, snap down both sides.
Close door

Remove the entire imaging unit
Unscrew the cap on the right side of the unit 1 chrome screw
Dump the waste toner out....very messy, do it outdoors
Replace the cap
Reinstall imaging unit
Power off and on again

press system menu/counter
select service settings via up and down cursor keys

now while pressing start key and # key press enter

then select maintenance mode by using the up down cursor key

then use the arrow keys to get to u020

and select and then run the reset...

these machines do not automatically restart so you will have to flip the power switch manually to reset the machine

The code C-630 indicates an abnormally high fixing temperature.

Check the thermistor, if it is shorted, replace.

the Fixing Heater Control Circuit is located on the power source PCB> relace as needed.
