Error code C6020

Sounds like you have a faulty thermistor. (heat sensing device) The 6020 indicates an abnormally HIGH temperature. If the readings are greatly different in the two thermistiors or one is not touching the hot roller could also be the problem.

You probably have it by now, but I'm looking too. I did come across this site in the U.K. that will sell it for 5 British Pounds (about $8 right now):

http://www.starmount.co.uk/products/343.html

The latest version is 1.86 (Build 1009).

The only downside is that they appear to not take credit cards unless you're in the U.K. to start with -- you need to do a bank transfer of some kind.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error Code E07 means paper jams near the fuser unit. Try removing the paper jams and check for any small bits of paper near the fuser unit.
Follow this procedure---
  1. Open the multi-bypass.
  2. Open the left cover. Holding the green handles, lower the two fixing section release levers.
  3. Remove the misfed paper while taking care not to tear it. If the paper is not easy to remove, proceed to the next step.
  4. If the paper is removed successfully, proceed to step 9. If the paper should be torn, remove all the scraps from the inside the copier.
  5. Holding the green handle, open the ejection guide.
  6. Remove the misfed paper while taking care not to tear it.
  7. Close the ejection guide.
  8. Lift the fixing section release levers.
NOTE--If the fixing section release levers are lowered, the left cover does not close.
9. Close the left cover and multi-bypass.
10. Pull the drawer out and check that no paper is misfed.
11. Close the drawer slowly.

Also check for the User and Operating instructions manual for details--

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

On my Copystar 8030, can't print 2 sided.

What type of paper are you telling the copier your using, your copier's duplexer (The section that turns the paper over for the second side image) if the copier is told that the paper is to thick (lbs/gm2) you operator manual will tell you what media (paper) can be used. either, via lbs system (US System) or g/m2 system rest of the world. What the paper comes wrap up in will tell the thicknest of the paper either in lbs, g/m2, or both Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/normanj_7893313f0751935f
