Enter the tech rep mode by pushing the utility button, pulling up the counter screen, and pushing Stop-0-0-Stop-0-1.

This will pull up the tech rep mode menu. Select "Counter" and then "Consumables."

Select the toner collection count and hit "Clear." Exit the mode and you should be good to go.

Here is the procedure. Please follow it carefully and do not go into any other areas. If you are not trained on this machine, damage could result.
1. Press the Utility key.
2. Press the Meter Count key.
3. Press the following keys in this order:
Stop then 0 then 0 then Stop then 0 then 1 or in other words Stop,0,0,stop,0,1
4. Select “Counter.”
5. Select “Consumables.”
6. Select the count of Waste Toner.
7. Press the Clear key.
Then you can turn the machine off then on again and the M2 Waste Toner should be gone.

This needs to be done by a trained technician but if you can get the imaging unit from a minolta dealer you may be able to do it. Just remember that you need access to the service manual to reset the imaging unit counter after replacing the unit. Good luck.
