Honestly don't know. If you got it form ATT or Verizon etc, take it back to them. They can fix it or tell you that you will need a new one. If you bought it outright form a non-phone company, check the warranty.

Hi Betty, if you are still having trouble try deleting F/B from the App Store reboot the phone an install it back on. If not do a Factory Reset and start from scratch. Cheers Greg.

Enter the main device Settings, and from the My device page, choose Lock screen. Click on the Screen lock item to see the list of screen lock methods, and change it to whichever type you like (perhaps Swipe or None). You'll have to enter the existing password (or PIN) to make the change.

BEST way to correct this issue, is to RESET your phone back to Factory, and re-import your stuff. BTW, if someone messed with your phone and could alter the password or phrase, then you left an opening for them to bypass it. Did you get a custom ROM on the device? It looks that you have improper modem software installed. If not then please check with your carrier if there any upgrades available and install them. But, before doing that I'd highly recommend do a backup of all your personal data and then perform factory reset with the cash cleaning (internal and Dalvik).

Normally you can go to a newsagents or somewhere that sells top ups, ask for £__ top up for __ network Call your network provider and type in the code given on the receipt.
