Will not stay connected to home wifi

Open your wifi on the phone and press and hold the wifi network that you want to connect to then click (modify) re-enter the security code for the wifi network again and then connect. If that does not work then the wifi signal is weak and you'll need to get closer to your router. Another thing is to choose United States for your Wifi Region in the wifi advanced settings menu. -- uncheck (avoid poor connections) -- check scanning always available -- Wifi Region Code (select United States) I hope that helps will-not-stay-connected-home-wifi-5x01jctu1hti52f1zciidmg3-3-0.png

OR 2. Go to: Settings > WiFi > (remove your network & then re-add it, don't forget you need your WiFi password in order to log back in) OR 3. HOW CAN I STOP MY SCREEN FROM FREEZING ALL THE TIME. HELP HELP!

Samsung Galaxy S4: Phone Freezing: Hello.. 1. Let's take out the battery from the back of the phone.. Do either one of these: (to dissipate any remaining energy in the phone) With the battery out of the device, wait for 30 seconds.. OR: With the battery out of the device, hold down the power button for a few seconds After that time, we want to see if we can do something to help your phone out.. so let's wipe the cache partition which will remove any temporary system files.. sometimes clearing this helps your present phone use: simultaneously (at the same time) do this: Hold down the power button, the up volume key, and the home button, until you see a few words at the top of the screen that are blue.. once you see that take your finger off the power button, but keep pushing down the up volume button and the home button at the same time.. until you see the little green android if it says it is updating the phone, let it update.. it maybe install a patch on your phone.. when you see a bunch of lines of words you are where you need to be stop-screen-from-freezing-all-time-help-kyzl0pi20tqzz121bvlihxv0-4-0.jpg BE CAREFUL what you select if you are not reading what you select you can wipe your whole phone deleting all your data use the volume keys to scroll up or down.. but for right now we want to go down the list, so use the down volume button on the left side of the phone.. scroll down to: "wipe cache partition" just above it will be to factory reset the whole device.. this is the dangerous one.. this is why i want you to be aware of what you are selecting. once, you highlight "wipe cache partition" use the power button to select this wait for the phone to finish which should take 1 second.. then, tap the power button once more.. (the highlight will be on reset device) to reset the phone.. it will power off, then power back on the issue why it froze, could be anything software related.. it is mostly caused by User Error or an App error. it could be an app that didn't play well with something.. so check your downloaded apps by uninstalling the last one you installed to see if that helps.. (process of elimination).. it could also be if you were downloading or updating something and you interrupted the transmission causing the phone to freeze
SamsungGalaxyS4-HowtoClearandWipeCachePartition.mp4 The ultimate solution to make your phone stop freezing.. The only best way to do this is to Factory Reset your phone, then put everything back in the way you had it before or the way you want it now.. that means installing apps, re inputting settings you want, etc Note: you will lose any databases inside of Apps unless they have their own cloud accounts that you can log into which saves your data online.. No? then you can't save them. consider anything like auto login password settings, game levels or anything in-game purchased like gems or armour, scores, etc lost after a factory reset. Make sure you backup any photos, music files, documents, etc before Factory Resetting.. You can do that using Samsung Kies software if you have a computer: Samsung Kies Free Download Kies 3 Latest PC Suite Mobile Software Window 7... If you have a spare Samsung Galaxy phone, use Smart Switch to make a duplicate of your phone Samsung Smart Switch Transfer Contacts Music and More and then after the factory reset on the s4, use Smart Switch to move everything back to your phone.. (Tip: keep the backup phone with your stuff on it, until you can verify the switch went as planned.)

We have a blue flashing light at the top left hand side what is it for and how do i turn it off

Samsung Galaxy S4: Flashing Blue Light: Hello. By default it means that you got a text message or some kind of notification. If you are on the home page after opening the lock screen and your text messaging app doesn't show that it received a text message (if it shows it received a message there would be a one next to it, near "Messaging" app) blue-flashing-light-top-left-hand-side-kyzl0pi20tqzz121bvlihxv0-1-0.jpg Then, with one finger.. touch the screen at the top of the phone and move finger down the screen (while still touching the screen).. you should see the notification area.. under the settings of that area it will show what is alerting you: blue-flashing-light-top-left-hand-side-kyzl0pi20tqzz121bvlihxv0-1-2.jpg notification screen: blue-flashing-light-top-left-hand-side-kyzl0pi20tqzz121bvlihxv0-1-5.png If you still want to turn this off.. go to: Settings>Device>Display>uncheck LED indicator:

WON'T SHOW OLDER EMAILS, only ones from the the last 3 weeks

Samsung Galaxy S4: Email: Won't show emails from the last 3 weeks: Hello. I'm assuming you are using the POP email app.
  • If you are logging into a Gmail account, use the Gmail app on your device (you have more options)
  • If you are trying to log into a Yahoo email account, download from Google Play App store the Yahoo email app.. use that instead (you have more options)
  • go to Settings>Applications>All Applications> scroll down to the Email app > and then Clear Data
Please note that the POP email app on the phone is a basic external email application and has a set default limit to how many emails it can show. So, if you have a lot of emails that you've transferred to this application, you may only see so much.
  • Try going into that POP email app to change the limit settings, tap the menu key (left bottom button next to home button) > then settings > tap on your account email address > scroll down to select Sync Schedule > scroll down to the bottom > select more settings > change the number of emails to load to whatever number you want

Imei code samsung galaxsy s4

Samsung Galaxy S4: IMEI #: To retrieve your IMEI #.. Here's several ways of doing it: (1) The easiest way, on the phone call dial pad enter: *#06# (2) If you had cellular service on that device. Call your Service Provider for your IMEI #. They will have this available in their own records. (3) If the phone was not activated on a cellular service yet, contact the Seller who sold it to you.. Many Sellers write down the IMEI # for their records. (4) It could be on a label on the original box it came in.. (5) The other way to retrieve the IMEI # of that cell phone is to check your Google Account.. As long as you had set up your Google/Gmail account on your phone. Here's how to do it: On a computer internet browser, go to: http://google.com/settings Sign-in to your Google account and then select the "Expand All" tab which will list all your devices connected to your Google account and all of their IMEI #'s imei-code-samsung-galaxsy-s4-kyzl0pi20tqzz121bvlihxv0-4-0.png

Why doesn't touch work?

Samsung Galaxy S4: Reset but Touch Screen not responding

1. If you recently got your screen repaired, it's possible that the repair was not put on correctly. Take it back to have them redo it.

2. If you replaced the screen and digitizer with aftermarket parts, I've heard of parts received DOA (dead on arrival or with issues of their own) being installed. In that case you may want to try getting parts from a different Seller

2. If your screen is not cracked and you did not damage the phone, and the phone is still under warranty, call Samsung Tech Support to see what they think. 1-800-SAMSUNG. You will need to mail it to Samsung for review. If it's deemed your fault it may cost up to $200 to fix +$30 to ship back to you +about that much to ship your phone insured to them. Or, take it to a local repair shop to save $$. If you have insurance on your phone from the Carrier, get them to check it out. It could be the touch sensor or the digitizer

3. This is a suggestion from online, however I don't think it will help, but it doesn't hurt to try. This suggestion is normally used when a tablet with a fixed battery that cannot be removed won't turn on.. Try depleting your battery to zero.. Meaning keep the phone on until the battery dies and the phone powers off by itself, take the battery out, hold down the power button with the battery removed to help the phone deplete any leftover energy in the phone. Put the battery back in, charge the battery to 100%, and then try powering on the phone after that. Doing so will soft reset the battery kind of like reconditioning it.
