What is the issue? Power steering in general, and Mercedes in particular, is not something most people can do repair work on.

the last mercedes i helped for this was a different model. but it may help to tell you i had to make a bushing for where the throttle linkage pivots. when a helper depresses the throttle, look to see where you are losing it. some are cable operated. you want the air cleaner removed for access. then operate the throttle by hand. then have a helper depress the pedal. watch the operation. is something disconnected?

is this an abs unit??? is your car a 190E ??? i have the haynes manual checked out right now from the public library... i can look it up and describe it to you...?

get on the mercedes benz club of america website. read similar threads or ask directly. those folks have a wealth of information

Should be buried under / in with the underhood fuseblock. Can't remember if that model has it were you take the fuse block apart to get to them, of it it is under it (still having to take it out)

Front or back?front through the fender well I think, back, through a maze, just to find no cheeze, but a burnt out light bulb at the end. (through the lower bumper cover)But I could be wrong, it's been a while.

buy a cd player cleaner disk. insert it and it will clean out your cd player. if not you need to buy a new one. a cd may be stuck inside. this always works for me, turn it on, let it almost start then shut it off right away, let it shut off completely for about 10 seconds then trun it back on and it should play. if not go out and upgrade your shetty cd player, you wanted a cool touch screen anyway right?

In order to figure out if a wheel will fit your car you will need to know the lug pattern spacing (i.e 5x112) and centerbore (i.e 66.5mm) (if your wheels are hub centric). Also, depending on how big your brake calipers are you will need to consider if the wheel is big enough in diameter to clear them. Owner of car needs to go to dealer with registration papers and drivers licence or id. Takes longer to drive then to get the code but the dealers are the only ones who generate the proper codes. If you are lucky the original owner may have placed the code sticker into the owners manual. There is a spot on the pages in the radio section just for that.

Try spraying silicone lubricant spray in the glass channels (rubber beading thru which glass run up and down). If this stops fuse issue then you need to change those glass beadings.

You say power over load I say there's a short in the system

Sounds like the sending unit in the gas tank is bad you need to drop the gas tank and inside with the fuel pump is the sending unit witch operates the fuel gauge

Sounds like it's time for a valve adjustment

Hi,

Does the car crank when you try to it turn it On.
Check the fuel pump.
Check the fuel pressure.
Check the spark plug and clean it.

If it Does not crank then you have to check the ignition system is the problem.

Don't think for just the one single bulb. Look in your Owners Manual it will tell you in there.

Have you checked the fuse?

first thing u need to find out is what the fuse runs and check to see if there is a reason for the fuse to blow it could be a short in your wiring and if you put the wrong fuse in its place you could burn up your wiring but the cover for your fuse block should have the correct fuse on it if not check your owners manueland if you dont have one you can visit your local auto zone and look in there chiltons manuel to find what your looking for
