You have a clutchless 2 speed motor so what it is exactly you want to do? GE authorized.

You should be able to unscrew the top cap of the agitator ( may be left hand thread ) and lift off the agitator once the cap is off... They sometimes stick so you may have to muscle it to remove that cap..once lifted off..you should be able to untangle the string that is caught..

have you cleaned the filter

Check the water valve screens in the water valve. Remove and clean

Could be the belt is streched

It is calcium chloride and you can not refill it. It is factory sealed . You have to buy a new blance ring but it is much easier to replace the entire clothes basket. I am here if you need help

Is the taps turned on ?? If so check for rust in the hose filters which are at the ends of the fill hoses or are in the inlets where the hoses screw on at the back of the washer . P.S. you should hear a faint buzzing sound coming from the area where the hoses hook up .
