How can i clear the error code sc690 to my afficio Gestertner Dsm 635
sc690 is the error associated with the white flat cable connected to the laser.
First of all , open the front door of the machine and remove the cover to the laser unit .remove the flat cable and and clean the alluminium surface with menthylated spirit carefully and and fix back the cable .cover it and power the machine.
If the error appears again,change the complete cable if you can, but if you cant then call an expert .

it is the hard drve error .
just disconnect the hard drive from the board andput on the machine.
bt remember you cannot store files since the hard drive has been disconnected.

How do i clear SC542
Press the yellow button then type in 107 and hold the red stop button down for more than 3 seconds. On the drum go to modes, no. 5 then you must scroll down till you see clear sc codes press ok and then execute. You must then turn the main power off then on again. If the problem still occurs then you must replace the thermistors, there are 2. Replace them both.

you are not mention the product number or model any have SC-322 is related to lazer diode unit (Lazer synchronization error) may be poor connection between LD unit and BICU bord or LD unit defective or BICU defective most of this cases we are facing LD unit defective. If you are not a technical person please call right person to solve this problem
