please inspect the lamp driver or power supply

check the physical nature of the lamp in the projector. around the filament of the lamp, you might notice dark corrosion building around it. this what normally cause premature shut off.

try the phase correction settings

This is a hard question to answer because it's sort of like going to the docter and only saying "i'm sick." but i'll do my best.
First i'll assume that your using a laptop to connect to the projector, laptops work with projectors very differently to a desktop computer or DVD player for instance.
Before you turn the laptop on, make sure the cable is securly in and the screws on the cable are fastened in properly, but not too tight. Make sure of this at the projector end aswell but at this end also make sure that your going into the appropriate socket (what your plugging in to should be written just above or below it) you mainly want to make sure you have definately plugged into an input and not an output. Now fire up the projector and give it a minute to go through its usual start up process of turning on the lamp and such. Now turn on the laptop, do the same, give it a minute to sort itself out. When the laptop is done and waiting for you to use it if the image is still not sending to the projector, make sure the projector is on the correct input. almost every projector gives you the ability to plug in multiple devices. A laptop is usually plugged into 'input A' or 'PC' or 'VGA'. If you are still not getting a signal to the projector go to the laptop. Laptops (unlike desktops) have a toggle function to let you decide which monitors you want to use. This will let you toggle between using the laptop's screen only, the projector only or both. On all laptops this is done by holding the 'Fn' button and pressing the corrent F# button. Which F# it is depends on the brand of laptop. for instance if you have a Toshiba, you hold Fn and press F5, on IBM you hold Fn and press F7, HP and Compaq hold Fn and press F4. You may be able to tell by looking at the symbols on the F keys but if not consult the user manual for the laptop.
If you are still having problems try plugging the laptop into a monitor using the same process as above, if you get an image on the monitor then the problem lies with the projector, but doesn't necessarliy mean it's faulty.

If the green light blinks 7 times it means lamp cage door switch is stuck of defective. Disconnect power and try accessing and checking lamp cage door.

If the switch is defective it can be repaired calling Optoma. Here a third party repair service.
