If you get that message, believe it.
You will have to enable it either through the software switch or a little switch that some computer manufacturers place on the computer case.
The first thing you can do is open your network connections and see if you can see the wireless connections. If it says disabled, you might be able to right-click on it and enable it.
You can also look in the control panel to see if the HP wireless assistant can be accessed through there (or possibly through the programs list).

If the computer is telling you that it is plugged in but the battery won't hold a charge the most likely explanation is that your battery is either spent (if it is older than two years) or it is defective (if it is a new battery).

The password is first thing to go when Windows got corrupted. Delete password(s) now, because soon you will not be able to log-in at all.Save all your stuff on external media, run good antivirus program, and be ready to reinstall Windows.Good luck!

try re-installing OS you might have this feature,,or not, on mine you press F10 whilst booting,if you can this would restore to factory settings,other wise external dvd rom will be needed,and your right ssd's are good technology

Here are some steps that can help you resolve the issue.

First, try removing the ac adapater and the battery and press and hold the power button for about 10-15 secs to remove the flea power. Then try to deattached the power cable and the power brick and attach it again properly, plug it to the computer without the battery and try to turn on the computer. If still the same problem try a good known power socket, if your using power strip try to plug it directly to the wall socket. If nothing works, try a good known ac adapter, or try you ac adapter to a good known working computer. If a good known ac adapter didnt work, contact HP as this is a power supply issue on the computer (power supply are mostly attached to motherboard for portables) contact HP to check your warranty and have it serviced. If the good known ac adapter works, contact HP to check the warranty and have the AC adapater replace or simply replace the ac adapter.

Try to enter safe mode by pressing F8 when it reboots. Save your files on an external drive an then reinstall Windows XP. It would also help to format the hard drive to get rid of bad sectors that potentially can ruin the system.

You are going to have to pull out the CMOS battery.

Have you tried the F5 Or F8 option to try to restore or safe mode back to last know configuration
Is there anything on your laptop that you want to save like pictures or files
because there is software out there that you can boot up with to hopefully copy over your things onto a spare hard drive or pen drive before you do the back to factory setting
Because you will loose everything if you do not back it up


They say that if your press the power switch and then instantly keep pressing the F11 key it should take you into the recovery options and just follow the on screen instructions

2. turn back on immediately and continually hit the f8 key

3. boot into safemode with command prompt

4. if you have windows vista goto run > type in command prompt

5. chkdsk /f

First update your antivirus from internet . Then when you power up the computer press F8 key 5 to 6 times then you can see safe mode and other menu enter in safe mode. then press windows key + R key so you can see run type in run "%tmp%" without "" then press ok then delete all temp files. Type in run "prefetch" without "" then press ok delete all prefetch files. Type in run chkdsk /r" without "" then press ok then press "y" then restart computer also scan computer with updated antivirus in safe mode. Then check. Let me know if you need further assistance. you could go to www.realtek.com go to downloads and it will offer you two different audio drivers
one high definition one and the AC.97 audio driver
choose which one you would like then click accept and away you go

windows will probably ask you to do a restart before it will kick on properly

Download Kon boot CD.Well, this problem can be solved with a small tool called KON-BOOT. Rather than cracking a Windows password, KON-BOOT bypasses it and lets you into the computer without typing one in. Download either the CD ISO or floppy image. For most uses, the CD will be just fine.You will have to unzip the downloaded file and then burn the CD image to virgin CD which is empty CD.. After that is done, Insert the CD image on your CD/DVD Rom. Reboot your system. Once you reboot your system, this may require you to hit F12 at the BIOS screen and choose to boot from the CD. You'll know you're there when you see the following.At any time, hit Enter and you should see an ASCII art logo draw onto the screen and a few loading dialogs. if I remember correctly this laptop has a wireless switch right below the right hand side of the palmrest. the opposite site of the power button.

what is the operating system.? you can ask the password from the vendor you buy it from or you can crack it. for this i need to know your os?

If you were to load your Win System Disk on to a USB drive, that would allow you to re load Windows.
Just set the Bios to boot from the USB and when it has COPY the system disk onto drice C.
Re boot and set up from C drive.

Set your notebook to be restored to an earlier date with the installed software.
So choose to open the control panel , click on BACKUP/RESTORE , open the settings and choose the set up date and click to restore.
If there is no response after the restoration , then you will need to reinstall the OS.
Clear your PC of any virus /malwares with a virus scan.
