Hello zqvilanueva, the "Best" way to get {RAM} that is 'compatible' with the RAM that you have installed in the Computer, now; is to find out what "Manufacturer" makes the RAM by {Name}
ie:
- Corsair
- Geil
- Kingston
- Mushkin
- OCZ
- Patriot
- PNY
- Crucial
- Team Group
- G. Skil
These are the "Top Manufacturers of RAM"
If you want to know 'which' product you have?
You have to 'open' the [Compartment] 'underneath the "Notebook."
the next thing is to get an {= equal} amount of RAM = 1 GB.
Next, you want to make sure of the "Type" of RAM you have?
Is it DDR? DDR2, DDR3... or is it "ECC or Non-ECC?
You need to know the [Exact Speed] of the RAM] by MHz or GHz.
But to simplify the getting the "correct" RAM; look at the "type of RAM you have, and try to get the 'same' one!
Or you can "Buy RAM in a Package of [two] that 'equal 2GB"
This way you'll know for sure that the RAM is 'compatible!'
