Looks like veo velocity has gone out of buisness. The did not have drivers for vista.
What you can try is make sure you run windows update on your computer and if you're lucky they might have a driver that will be compatible with your webcam.

Try the manufacturer's website. They may have an updated driver for your operating system.

thats easy to do , go into google and put in the name of you web cam , /software and this should take you to a home page , find apps and download ,,,,,good luck Roy

Generally the only installation necessary for a webcam is to first install the drivers from the included CD and then plug in the webcam when directed to do so. Please let me know if there are any issues.

If you go to the Veo website and look under the support section you will be able to search your product and download a driver for your operating system. A vista driver will also work for windows 7 so if the company website only lists a vista driver it will work for windows 7.

Try the following: 1) clean the webcam lens with a damp cloth, 2) if the webcam has a ring on the front of the lens try turning it to sharpen the focus, and 3) try the tips recommended in the article How To Improve Your Webcam Video Quality, especially the lighting tips.

Make sure you have your webcam mic set as default - especially if you have a laptop with a built in mic
TEST SPEAKERS
Right click on speaker icon in System Tray
Select "Playback Devices"
The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible
Right click on the volume graph and click "Test"
Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard

SET DEFAULT & TEST MIC
Click "Recording" tab.
To set required (webcam) mic as default - click on mic font to highlight and click "Properties"
In lower dropbox display "Use this device enable" click 'OK'
Click "Levels" tab and ramp up sliders ( adjust to suit later)
Return to "Recording". Test mic by speaking and make sure volume graph displays

Restart computer

Try downloading the earlier OS software
Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop and click 'Properties'
Click 'Compatability' tab and select to run in the webcam OS you have downloaded
Click 'Apply' 'OK'
By trial and error check the 'Settings' boxes to achieve best results - start with 'Disable visual themes'

Web Camera's have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/ )
set it up as follows:
Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera, if Installed Properly, it will come up and show a video picture.
Then, on the bottom of the page click save.
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and hear you.
B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.HTML )
set it up as follows:
Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on "Open the call setup assistant" and follow the instructions on the left window.
C. Windows Live Messenger:
