this happened to me wen i first got mine, so what in the manual the mp3 will need at 4 hours at first to be charged fully, when u charge it flip the on/off switch ON, n let it sit as long as you can. thats the only way it will charge, the reason why it keeps turning off is becuz its on low battery

Just take it back to Walmart, even without a receipt, they will give you a credit note to buy another one. They are budget speaker made in China. Make sure the speaker is fully charged, and replace the battery in the remote.
