When we connect the camera to the computer using USB cable we need to make sure that the camera is turned on. If the camera is not turned on then the computer will not detect the camerea.

You might try a can of compressed air, but I would see if the camera is still in warranty. I had good luck with my Canon, they sent me a new camera!

what kind of batteries are you using.
sometime theses cameras have issuse with different battery types.
i suggest getting batteries recommended to use with the camera.
if this is not the problem you may have a loose connection or damaged connection inside the battery casing. contact sanyo for repair or take back to where you bought it.

This happened to me to, try to fiddle around with the lense even if its rough try to pull the lense back out because it may be bent and stuck.
Try wobble it side to side if you notice it look a bit wonkie.

I had this same failure. It could be two things, one you bumped the lens an knocked it off the track it rides on. Easier done than you think, or the motor has failed on the lens. You can try to take it apart as I did, but you need time an small tools to do it. It took me three hours to take apart, an two hours to get back together. Dont throw it away I you can fix it. Someone could fix most likely if that is it

There is only one thing I can think of. If it is not this perhaps your camera is defect. Your camera has a White balance setting. You can put it in Auto, Incand. Daylight, cloudy and Manual. Check if it is in something other than Auto. If so, put it in Auto, till you think you can improve the colours by putting it in a special setting.

You can delete the photos by formatting the memory, go to the camera's Menu and scroll through the settings to Format memory.

well you have to change the batterys you can either search in walgreensor a store near you if they have the same batterys then all you have to do is replace them and your done if this doesnt help then im really sorry
