GE Profile Spectra JGBP90 Gas Kitchen Range - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Buzzing Noise coming from GE Stovetop.
It could be a loose transformer that needs to be remounted. Pull the stove out, remove all of the screws at the top and visually inspect the transformers and wiring. This should be an easy fix, but if you leave it too long then your stove will malfunction. I hope this helps at least get you to the next step.

Same problem as well. Hoping to buy universal fit parts as GE wants $16/piece (x6) to replace the knobs. They WILL NOT cover under warranty.HORRIBLE SUPPORT, POOR QUALITY PRODUCT!

Locked door on my GE Profile Oven (Range)
Amazing. I've searched across the web, and this "locked door" problem appears to be a DESIGN FLAW across the entire product line: if you run the self-cleaning cycle, it WILL trigger this problem and despite the suggestion of a wide range of "self-help" strategies, the only real solution is to pay for a service call (and then, it appears, paying for a new control unit and probably an additional service call to have it installed, and then more service calls if the same problem occurs). We have a JGB900BEF2BB GE Profile range, and of course we've run through all the self-help suggestions at geappliances.com and on a dozen other web sites like this one.
How do you remove the top of a spectra gas stove
usually there are screws around the burner head that must be removed then a few under the front above the door, possibly clips along the side toward the front that need to be pushed in with a small screwdriver or putty knife. cant just pull up on front because you'll tear the burner tubes off that run from the front manifold.
