Hi all so I have a Aprilla Pegaso 650 57 plate its been stood nearly 2 years and just won't start

It has fuel injection and yours isn't working. In the 'old days' you would have just stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the carburetor. Now you need dealers with scan tool computers to diagnose and fix. The first thing to check would be the fuel pump, which supplies the pressurized fuel to the injectors. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-reviews/aprilia/pegaso-650/1997/ ..

I would love to know if anyone knows of a trophy top from the 50's called a Jalopy and resembles a '32 ford 5 window coupe. no fenders, square hole in roof and brass plated. I broke my dad's first 1.

call around the ford veteran and modified car clubs to see what information you can get they are the most likely people that can help you

Going from synthetic blend oil to a regular premium oil? Any adverse complications?

First of all let me tell you that it is a myth that you can not go back and forth between conventional oil and synthetic or in your case synthetic blend. They all mix very well together but why on earth would you not use a full synthetic in every thing? It will keep your motor so much cleaner, and last way longer, new or 150.000 miles used, does not matter. They refine the synthetic oils way way longer to get the impurities out. Other big thing [ OILTEMPERATURE AND WEAR COLD START UPS ] Exceeds and blows conventional out of the water. plus a real full synthetic you can run a lot longer just spin a new good grade filter on or change it. Me my self Ill run Walmart full synthetic in my grand prix and ROYAL PURPLE in my 2013 mustang. I think there all full synthetics are good compared to the old dirty sludge and if all the new manufactures are recommending it now its good. Do you have any motor rebuilders or trucking builders close to you? Just go look at the oil pans to compare the too . I guarantee you will be sold that day and never run conventional again.... PERIOD.

How do I go faster to beat them

Simple Assuming the cars are of equal calibre, just hold the pedal to the metal for longer, brake later & accelerate as fast as possible if not braking or cornering. That is the winning formula. Otherwise get a faster car

Whats that mean p2187 system too lean at Idle bank1

Means the engine is either running lean due to a problem or that the o2 sensor is malfunctioning. You will need to use a scan tool to read live data and check the wave length of the o2 to make sure it is working. If it is not, replace it. If it is working you will need to diagnose the problem, could be anything from a clogged fuel filter to a vacuum leak.

I just fitted a gianelli exhaust expansion to my old Yamaha DT125 lc -87. The bike lost 20km/h with the new exhaust. It revs better and accelerates better but when I get it to 100km/h with 3rd gear at

Go to a smaller exhaust or a longer exhaust (not practical. Engines need some back pressure. That is why headers on dragsters are all of equal length.

How long should a cv shaft last?

Depending on how hard it's driven, it should last a min. 50,000 mi. and up over 100,000. Check the rubber boot and see if it's torn, if it is then dirt is getting into it then it won't last very long..5 to maybe 10,000 mi.
