You may have to hold them down whilst turned on to intitise s flame then release the knob the flame should stay on as the fsd has proved to the gas tap there is a flame so will stay on

Each of the knobs has a little white rotary switch on it's shaft below the cooktop. You've likely got water in one of those switches and it's making the connection in the switch to start the igniter circuit. Unplug/turn off the breaker to the unit. If it's just water and not a sauce or noodle water or something else impure, you may be able to let it dry out without too much trouble. You could try pulling off the knobs and sucking at the openings with a wet/dry vac to try to get more water out of the switches. The worry is corrosion from being wet too long. Hello mfry.... It is true that these glass tops do get more brittle as time goes on and there is the chance that it could break. That said, if the top breaks, you can generally buy a replacement top. I would begin by removing the glass. If it doesn't break on the way out it probably won't break. Once the top is off, then get the replacement ignitor.

If all burner are clicking then the problem is with the spark module.You need to replace the module.

If only one igniter is clicking, then the problem is with the igniter of that particular burner.You need to replace the igniter.
