Our Lakewood 5101 oil heater gets warm, but over the last few days, it is not getting hot like it used to.

Appears you have a heating element issue. Many of these elements are segmented for temp control. If one part goes fubar the heater will work but not put out the heat it used to unless you replace the element with a new one that has no burnt out sections.

Swich on and of don

They don't make replacemnet parts any more and the company is no longer in business. But you can use any off and on switch you can find that fits in the hole, or rig an external switch. You can also find these heaters on e-bay for parts.

We turned it off and

was the heater still warm when you turned back on the oil is heated by a thermostat control if oil hot heat will not turn back on till cools down these can take a while to cool down as all done by naural ventilation, if this is not the case i would get a service agent tolook at for you

Lakewood space heater thermostat source

No I never had any luck and the parts likely 1/2 the cost or more of a new one at wal mart and the heat element would still be old too

Lakewood 7000/A 1500W Oil-Filled Heater. Is it possible to safely wire a different switch in place of the double switch?

Question edited for clarity. No, buy the right one. All these switches are common and generic. You can search them, by the number printed on the side of them. They are here on eBay by the looks of it.

We have a Lakewood Model 6500 oil filled heater and need to get replacement casters. Can you help with a website and size for replacement?

You should be able to get them on Amazon. Just measure the stem for diameter and length https://www.google.com/search?q=lakewood+model+6500+replacement+casters No parts suppliers, I read they are no longer in business. The consumer recall probably finished them. https://www.google.com/search?q=lakewood+6500+heater+parts ..

Lakewood Pro Series HV-20CR fan. The high speed is not working, low and med are slow.

It may need a new switch. You can test with a multimeter. I wonder if it has a capacitor that is failing. There are some servicing videos for the HV021 that may help. If not, take it into a local shop that services appliances. It is worth getting repaired. https://www.google.com/search?q=Lakewood+pro+series+hv-20cr+fan+high+speed+not+working ..

Have a Lakewood HV9 that died.

No. If my memory is correct it has a thermal fuse in the winding that opened. It was not designed to be replaced or repaired. Your berings froze up stalling the motor. It got hot and took out the fuse. You got a lot of years of good service from it.

I can't seem to find a wiring diagram for a lakewood oil filled heater model 7101. Anyone have one they can take a pic of it for me

There are a couple of videos in this link. DO NOT click the link on the first website, or any others that ask you to click 'ALLOW' with a goofy robot image. They are Russian hacker sites. https://www.google.com/search?q=wiring+diagram+for+a+lakewood+oil+filled+heater+model+7101 ..
