Won't unlock for a week...then F3
Try to cut power to the unit for a while. Also, check for loose electrical connections nearby and on the stove (unplugged or breakers open!!). Restore power. Fixed..done. Not fixed, change circuit board.

Take the back off the control panel and see if you can access the board. If you can see the board component side, go to radio shack and fgget freeze spray. Start the oven and when it quits like you described, spray one part on the board at a time till it comes back on. OR buy a new board

My electric Oven keeps tripping
Hi. YES you most definately have a short. The burning smell is coming from either the wire arcing and thus producing ozone and heat, or the insulation on the wire is being burnt. Take the back off the control unit to expose the wires and see if you can see where the wiring is burnt. It could be a loose connection, or something more serious. If in doubt, call a professional repairman to check it out.Earl MarshallNorse Tool/Equipment Repairs

How do I replace the
Hello,
On the bracket for the sensor is a couple screws that could be removed and the sensor could be removed from within the oven itself without having to pull the wall oven out of the cabinet.
BE SURE WHILE REPLACING THE SENSOR THAT THE POWER TO THE OVEN IS TURNED OFF AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER

F7 Alarm is sounding. It
The F 7 code refers to the keypad and it thinks it is stuck or there is actually a button on the keypad stuck. Try running a finger across the keypad to see if you feel a depressed button or if it clears.
According to GE the F7 code means
F7 A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)
On self cleaning ovens this is the service check:
Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs
If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.
You may also have a bad ribbon cable and the two cables are mounted extremely close and sometimse by seperating the cables with a piece of paper this will clear the fault, be careful and work a piece of paper between the cables where they mount on the circuit board and see if this clears the fault other wise your keypad may well be bad.
There is a fix to the ribbon cable that is already been established and I will post this here as a shortcut for your convienance.

Oven shows an F2 flashing after self cleaning
Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
The F-2 error code Indicates that
oven is over temperature in one of the following modes within
either a cooking or clean mode of operation.
· Control senses oven temperature
above 650 degrees F with the door circuit in the unlock mode.
· Control senses oven temperature
above 935 degrees F with the door in the locked mode.
· Stalled cooling fan or airflow
problem.
·
Look for welded relay
contacts. (Heating elements on in off mode).
· Look
for open thermal switch in lock motor circuit. Switch is normally
closed and will open if area overheats due to fan not operating.
Look for cause - fan thermal switch not closing, fan stalled,
etc.
· Look
for high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit
due to high contact resistance (poor terminal crimp, deformed
terminals, loose connection) or intermittent solder joint
on control or intermittent oven temperature sensor.
· Look
for electrical noise interference in the oven temperature
sensor circuit (Ham radio, cordless phone, etc.).

How does one remove oven
Move the door to the broil position. Lift the door off the hinges. To re install the oven door the hinges must be in the broil position. Note: Some models have a screw on the inside door panel over each hinge that must be removed but I do not believe it is that way in your case.
I looked at your model If you are planning on replacing an element remember the L-2 off the breaker is LIVE to the elements. Make darn sure the power is OFF. If you need further help, reach me via phone at
