Jtp45 lower oven hot heating on any cycle

Possibly a tripped thermal fuse. Should be located behind the panel in between the upper and lower ovens. Might have a red reset button on it you can push down. If it clicks and then works again, look for possible cooling fan problems. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeffrey_634abadf963e31e5

Control board harvesting

No, the parts aren't the same. The W2BB model has this code for that same part WB27T10283, while the A2BB model has this code for that part WB27T10292. The parts Look exactly the same in the diagrams, however in my past I have discovered the hard way that connectors and things in the circuitry are often different even if they fit. They're pretty pricey too 250 bucks or so...good luck!

I have a JKP13 oven and the temp is about 100

This is a simple repair and you can do it yourself. If your temperature is off, you have a bad temperature control sensor.

F7 is permanently on the key pad and the oven is

Hi

Error code F7 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Daniel

Shutting down with an F2

F2 During BAKE. Control senses oven temperature above 615F-630F If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts on bake or broil relays. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).

If no over temperature condition occurred: Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature. F2 During CLEAN . Control senses oven temperature above 915F-930F If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts.

Check door lock switches.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature.

I have just installed a new electronic control in

It does sound like a wiring mistake. Check all the connections and the wire colors against the colors on the Tech Sheet wiring diagram (which is normally taped on inside the control panel). Particularly look closely at how the door switch and lock connector is plugged in. You may have reversed the plug.
