Bought a used GE jtp15 wall oven, wired it 220 red/white/black. It turned on, locked door flashing, 4:00 flashing, then shut off and will not turn back on.

Strange it won't turn back on. Did you see it working when you purchased it secondhand? It appears you just need to reset. Turn off at the breaker for 2 minutes, then back on and try this.

SOLVED: Our GE Profile JTP18 keeps flashing "door loc

I have a GE rapid clean II J55BF-1 wall mount oven needs to replace the baking element. Did someone happen to know the part number of the replacement baking element ?

To find the correct replacement baking element for your GE Rapid Clean II J55BF-1 wall mount oven, you can try the following steps:
  1. Locate the model and serial number of your oven. This information is usually found on a label on the inside of the oven door or on the back of the oven.
  2. Visit the GE Appliances website or use an online appliance parts retailer to search for the part using your oven model number.
  3. Look for the baking element part number in the oven's user manual or service manual. These manuals may be available online or from the manufacturer.
  4. If you are still having trouble finding the correct part number, consider contacting the manufacturer's customer service department for assistance.
Once you have the correct part number, you can order the replacement baking element and follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation.

GE oven flashed f7 d6 error. Replaced key pad, same error again. Replaced ERC board and still f7 d6. What now?

It's possible that a faulty ERC (Electronic Range Control) could damage a new keypad, but it's not very common. The F7 D6 error code indicates a problem with the communication between the keypad and the ERC. Here are a few other things you could try:
  1. Check the ribbon cable connection between the keypad and the ERC. Make sure it is securely connected and not damaged in any way.
  2. Try resetting the oven by turning off the power to it for a few minutes, then turning it back on. This may help clear any temporary glitches that are causing the error.
  3. If the above steps don't work, it's possible that there is a wiring problem or a faulty component in the oven that is causing the error. In this case, it may be best to call a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

GE Range Model JBP62DM2. Oven and top burners not working.

Even if the oven thermal overload sensor is functioning properly, it is less likely to be the cause of the issue with the oven and top burners not working. However, it is still worth checking to ensure that the sensor is not malfunctioning or damaged. The thermal overload sensor is a safety feature that can cause the oven to shut off if it overheats, so if it is faulty or damaged, it could potentially prevent the oven from heating up or cause it to shut off prematurely. To test the thermal overload sensor, you can use a multimeter to check its resistance. The resistance should increase as the temperature of the oven rises. If the resistance remains the same or is outside the expected range, then the sensor may be faulty and should be replaced. If the sensor appears to be functioning correctly, then you should investigate other potential causes mentioned below, If the oven and top burners are not working even after replacing the main control board, there could be several other possible causes. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Check the power supply: Even though the voltage at each input feed wire is 120 volts, the power supply may not be providing enough current to operate the oven and burners. Check the wiring and connections to ensure they are secure and not damaged. You may also want to check the circuit breaker or fuse box to make sure there are no issues with the electrical supply.
  2. Check the heating elements: The oven and top burners are powered by heating elements. If one or more of the heating elements are faulty, this could be causing the issue. Check the elements for any signs of damage or wear, and test them with a multimeter to ensure they are functioning properly.
  3. Check the wiring harness: The wiring harness connects the various components of the oven to the control board. If the wiring harness is damaged or has a loose connection, this could be preventing the oven and burners from working. Check the wiring harness to ensure it is securely connected and not damaged.
  4. Check the safety valve: The safety valve on the oven regulates the flow of gas to the burners. If the safety valve is faulty, it may not be allowing gas to flow to the burners, which could be preventing them from igniting. Check the safety valve to ensure it is functioning correctly.
If you are unable to identify the issue, it may be best to call a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the oven.

I have a GE Dual wave II Microwave System (model # jkp68g0k3). Still works great.

You may be able to find a replacement glass for your GE Dual Wave II microwave system by contacting GE's customer service or parts department. They may have compatible replacement parts available, or be able to direct you to a third-party supplier that carries them. You can also try searching for the part online using the model number of your microwave. However, keep in mind that older models may have limited availability of replacement parts, so you may need to consider alternative solutions such as having the glass custom-cut or purchasing a new microwave.

Oven door remains locked after self clean cycle - but the oven has cooled

Number one Tip, NEVER use self cleaning cycles. They only exist to break ovens and sell parts. Try disconnecting the mains after about 10 minutes of cool down time. If that doesn't work, you will need a service call to correctly diagnose if the lock solenoid has failed or you need a new control board.

GE Trivection JT930SOH1 Oven, touch screen not lighting up

The thermal fuse in your GE Trivection JT930SOH1 oven is likely located behind the touch screen control panel. In order to access the thermal fuse, you will likely need to remove the control panel. Before attempting to access or repair the thermal fuse, it's important to ensure that the oven is unplugged and that you have taken proper safety precautions, such as wearing gloves and eye protection. Instructions to access the thermal fuse may vary depending on the specific model of your oven, so it's recommended to check the owner's manual for your oven or contact GE for instructions. However, in general, you may be able to access the thermal fuse by first removing the control knobs and screws that secure the control panel in place. Then, you'll likely be able to lift the control panel off of the oven to access the thermal fuse. It's important to note that the thermal fuse is a safety device, and it's designed to blow if the oven overheats. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced. If the fuse is not blown and the touch screen is still not lighting up, it could be a problem with the touch screen itself or a problem with the wiring or other electrical components of the oven. It's recommended to contact a certified technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

GE JKP26 Double Oven. The broiler trips circuit breaker.

Question edited for clarity. One of Broil elements have failed. Often you can visually see the damage, or you can test with a multimeter with the power turned off. Try for continuity. The failed one will be shorting to earth. The other possibility is that an end contact has melted through and is touching the case.

GE Wall Oven model ZET1FH1SS Error code F72 What's wrong?

F72 usually means a stuck key on the keypad for a GE oven. Sometimes you can clear the code by turning off the power at the circuit breaker. If the error repeats then you often need to replace the control board. For a parts list, see https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/3mxf0xig9x-000432/ge-zet1fh1ss-electric-wall-oven-parts . GE Profile PT916SM1SS will not heat up past 290

Hi, please check that the oven isn't leaking heat into another area. Or maybe your settings need some calibration or the temperature sensor for the oven is off by 60 degrees. If this is the case, changing the temperature setting to 410 should bring the internal temperature to 350 degrees. Please try this. Thank you.
