GE Monogram Overhead Hood is drippiong water
The hood pipe vents through the roof. Either the shingles around the pipe, or the rubber flange the pipe goes through is allowing water to enter and run down the pipe.
Someone will have to go on the roof with a tube of roof cement and look for a void in the flange or the shingles. For sure I would run a bead of roof cement around the pipe where it goes through the flange.
I changed a bulb in my range hood and when i
Did you replace the bulb with the correct type? Check your manual -- mine are 12 volt, 20 watt bulbs. If you put one in there that's not rated properly it will probably blow the fuse(s) in your hood.
We are looking for the wiring diagram for this
hi, the best i can do is give some help, i cannot locate a correct diagram. you have the basics. there are two wires coming from your power source(the house) go to the primary side of the transformer. there are two wires taking power off the transformer to the fan or lights or whatever in your range hood. the two wires coming from your house have lethal voltage, be sure the house wires are turned off at the circuit breakers in your power panel. this transformer delivers 12v on the power output side. the connection from the house is to the "primary" side of the trans, the other two lines connect to the 12v side (called the secondary). this is all basic information and not completely verified by me, please be careful. the house lines should be black and white and connect to black and white respectively if there are wires connected to your transformer when it was made. the other wires are 12v they will power the components(fan, lights etc, ) in the hood. if you are not sure and this description does not match what you have please consult another expert for advice, thank, just want you to be safe!
