Error Code F1

F 11 code. it is a touch pad error.
If you just cleaned the control panel it may have water in the panel causing a key to stick.
If after a day or 2 it hasn't dried out - then you will need to replace the touch pad.

My GE Profile JE1390 (Sensor

Door switches

If one of the door interlock switches is not switching properly or there is a condensation problem on the sensor control panel, either can cause the turntable/light/oven to come on even though the "Starts" button has not been depressed due to the wiring of the switches.
Check for faulty door switches and/or contaminated actuators.
I hope that helps.

Door is stuck and will not open. Tea was heated

Door catches.

One of the latches may have broken off or got stuck and is not lifting the dother latch clear of the housing. Remove from any power source, remove the cover of the cabinet. Slacken off the clamp mechanism and ease the clamp over the guide to allow the door to open. When a new door lever is in place, the door may be easily adjusted by slackening off the screws that clamp the door catch/actuators in place whilst holding the door closed and then tightening the screws. The rear of the door may be adjusted by slackening the lower door hinge screws and adjusting as required.
I hope that helps.

Yesterday my GE JE1390WA, stopped working. After

Please disconnect the set, open the cover of the oven , then the front panel assembly. Inspect carefully for any signs of insect/ coakroaches within the set, if so use a good blower to clean the inside, use a hot air dryer to warm for any insect dirt. once you have finished checking for any loose connections and the clean status, close the cover back and check on the set. If it does not work well try settting the clock and test. Hope this helps. Good day.

How to remove the controls panel cover.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

If it's an Amana, WHirlpool, Kitchenaid, etc., and you don't find yours, or if you want to look at it without disassembling the oven, you can download it here.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

If you need to remove the oven from the wall, the the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

You can download owner's manuals and installation instructions for several brands (including Amana, Jenn-Air, Kitchenaid, Litton, Maytag, Roper, Tappan, Thermador and Whirlpool here.

You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

When i press the door

Hi.

This happens usually because one of the door latch solenoids are faulty, and the door lock does not release.

In some case the timer board is faulty.

Turn on again , and see if this does reset the fault.

Try also holding down the On/Clear button for about five or ten seconds.

If still no luck the oven must be taken apart to test the switches in the door lock mechanism. This are located inside the oven, not inside the door.

Testing is done using a multimeter to read impedance on door lock switches, testing wiring harness.

If you want to call a repairman you can use the number listed on the owners manual.

Here parts and diagrams for your Oven, please click.

Regards.

I've got a GE Advantium 120/Model ZCS1001KSS01, the display will get lines thru it, and comes in and out of view, and will always finish its cycle. however, when you go back to use, it is dead.

The problem with your Display of your GE Microwave/Speedcooker is not the Digitron WB27X10856 display board? The flickering and ultimately failure over of the display is due to the WB27X10861 GE microwave control board which is a rebranded (LG 6871W1A417/6871W1A417A board) which GE then sells as a markup. The princple purpose of this board is to convert (i.e. rectify) AC to DC at various voltage levels needed by the rest of the microwave to run their control circuits in the microwave. A portion of the GE microwave is always on so the AC/DC supplly is always on. Overtime the electrolytic capacitors in a section of the board fail or degrade to a point they the DC suppy starts to produce ripples in the DC power supply which results in circuit board failures. These ripples produce deep spikes of voltage of 120 Hz that the other circuits are sensitive too. I just exmined a failed WB27X10861 board and measued the capacitance of each of the seven electroylic capacitors. Of the 7 capacitors, 2 had failed over time. The others 5 have degraded 10 to 15 percent but still within their design spec. The two that failed, C07 - 1000uF 25 V had a measured value of 207uF and the other C08 - 220uF had a measured value of 13uF. There was no visible bloating on either SAMWHA SG capacitor. Nomally, these capacitors are rated at 2000 hour at 85 degree C. 2000 hr is only 83 days, but since the voltage is less and the temperature is probably 40 to 50 degrees inside the capacitor these capacitors may last 10 years. They harder they work the shorter the lifespan. There are two solutions, either purchase a new replacement control board or replace the failed C07 and C08 capacitors within the failed board with better ones. You can easily buy 10,000 hour , 105 degree C rated capacitors for probably 25 cents more than 2,000 hour capacitor. Most people don't have the resouces to repair a board so buying a new board is their only solution. Don't buy a used board on ebay because a used board is probably on the verge of failure.
