My mixer has a burning smell
Possibly dry oil in the bearings or dirty brushes ... maybe a component failue supplying the power to the motor.

How do I replace carbon brushes in my grundig premiem food mixer
I am unfamiliar with the model. Many older models of various appliances and tools had two exposed brush caps making brush replacement simple and straightforward as long as the brushes were replaced sometime before the old ones wore out.
In these safety-conscious times the practice of providing exposed brush caps has all but disappeared and the design of many appliances have buried the motor in layers of streamlined casing, sometimes making motor access difficult and time consuming. Manufacturers these days don't want people to make their purchases last a long time.
If you don't see brush caps you will need to start removing screws...
If you have mistimed it and one of both of the brushes has completely worn out, there will be some damage to the commutator and while it might be negligible and cause little or no problem it should at least be looked at in order to make the decision whether it would benefit from being cleaned up or even having the wear ridges removed.

A lot would depend on whether this was a hand mixer or a stand mixer, but I guess most likely to be a hand mixer.

In a hand mixer, you have strained the mechanism and slipped a few teeth on the gears inside. You need to split the case and re-time them.

My minuteman concrete mixer leaking a lot oil from gear box bought oil seal , but i need to fill it back on what oil should i use and how much ? please advice .thank you . jerry
Not all oils mix well so completely draining the old oil before refilling is important except where you know what oil is already inside, which I note you don't.
You might find an application for your mixer in one of the online application catalogues - just choose your favourite brand. Most oil brands also have a technical department designed to make such recommendations.
If you can't find a recommendation then what you fill it with is very much your choice - many of the traditional oils for slow rotating gears and bearings have disappeared from the marketplace; the very sticky heavy oils and semi-greases have all but disappeared, some of which were blended with bitumen and some of which had to be warmed in order to make them flow enough to pour.
You could equally choose an SAE 90 or 140 EP (extreme pressure) or even one of the modern semi-synthetic multigrade gear oils such as the SX 75-90 or you could go to the extreme and just use one of the many automatic transmission/power steering fluids that have superior lubrication and cooling properties.
It would be sensible to use an oil that is readily available and there is no reason why you shouldn't use a reasonable quality engine oil as most give a good performance in a gearbox and many vehicle gearboxes have specified engine oil...
