Where can I get a free download for windows xp 3 ksuser.dll?

The ksuser.dll file is one of many files contained in the DirectX software collection. Since DirectX is utilized by most Windows based games and advanced graphics programs, ksuser.dll errors usually show up only when using these programs. Resolution Important Note: Do not download the ksuser.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are a number of excellent reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea. Note: If you've already downloaded ksuser.dll from one of those DLL download sites, remove it from wherever you put it and continue with these steps. 1. Restart your computer if you haven't yet. The ksuser.dll error might be a fluke and a simple restart could clear it up completely. 2. Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX. Chances are, upgrading to the latest version of DirectX will fix the ksuser.dll not found error. Note: Microsoft often releases updates to DirectX without updating the version number or letter so be sure to install the latest release even if your version is technically the same. Note: The latest version of DirectX should be installed no matter if you're running Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP. The installation may include DirectX10 and DirectX9 files but they run side-by-side without problem on all of these operating systems. 3. Assuming the latest DirectX version from Microsoft doesn't fix the ksuser.dll error you're receiving, look for a DirectX installation program on your game or application CD or DVD. Usually, if a game or other program utilizes DirectX, the software developers will include a copy of DirectX on the installation disc. Sometimes, though not often, the DirectX version included on the disc is a better fit for the program than the latest version available online. 4. Uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again. Something might have happened to the program files that work with ksuser.dll and a reinstall could do the trick. 5. Restore the ksuser.dll file from the latest DirectX software package. If the above troubleshooting steps haven't worked to solve your ksuser.dll error, try extracting the ksuser.dll individually from the DirectX downloadable package. 6. Update the drivers for your video card. While it's not the most common solution, in some situations updating the drivers for the video card in your computer could correct this DirectX issue.

I need to reinstall windows xp home edition i have the product code but no disk

I have used full install/ disk from other brands of computers (or other dell model numbers)to reinstall operation system (must be winxphome, dont worry about service pack, you can update). If you use any dell reinstallation cd, most likely you will not have to enter your key. If you use any other computer brand, or borrow someones xphome full install disk (not upgrade), then you will need to enter your key. Only problem of using for example emachine full install disk is that is will have emachine themes. Also you will likely need to down load other drivers. You are not lemited to to using reinstall cd for your model number. Good luck

Trojan - antivirus-xp-pro-2009

Take my notes as a guide and hopefully this will work for you.

1. Start > Run > msconfig > “Start Up” tab > Disable All
2. “Services” tab > Check box “Hide Microsoft Services” > Disable All
2.5 Exit out, but don't reboot yet
3. Start > Right-click “My Computer” > “Properties” > “System Restore” > Check box “Turn off restore on Hard disks”
4. Start > Run > type %temp% > Edit Select All > Shift-Delete
Reboot machine
1. Combofix.exe. This program will run on its own. Also, it will likely wish to reboot the machine. Let it complete.
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
2. WinSockFix.exe. This will fix any issues with the network connection.

3. SuperAntispyware.exe. This will remove all remaining spyware, tracking cookies, and browser hijackers.
Check to see that your favorite internet browser is working. Install or re-enable your favorite antivirus that failed to catch this in the first place.

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

I just had this exact same problem myself with my laptop after downloading SP3.

After hours of researching, I came across a forum where someone wrote, to visit the following Microsoft web page. (See link below). Although the web page addresses problems with your CD after installing SP3 there is a download there that corrects not only CD problems but other problems as well. I suggest you try it. It worked for me.

Otherwise, SP3 issues are addressed by Microsoft support free of charge.

PC would not open up.

Probably means that you have a problem with your operating system. This can be for a variety of reasons, which I probably can't figure out from the description. I'd recommend contacting whoever sold you the computer and inform the that you need new CDs for your operating system, (hopefully they will send you them for free, some companies charge a fee). When you put this CD in the tray and turn on your computer, you're going to have to watch for something on your screen that says press "F(some number, usually 10 or 12) to change boot order" After that, look for any option that sounds like a CD drive, and boot from that.

Unfortunately, there is a high likelihood that you'll be required to wipe the contents of your hard disk. That means deleting all of your photos, music etc. This *might not* happen, I've had a similar issue with reinstalling Windows XP and it didn't delete anything on my computer.

Have an active trojan - Trojan.Generic.KDV.178636.

Download from either of these links (link 1 or link 2) the Combofix utility. Depending on the existing antivirus on your system might need to disable it temporarily in order to download the utility. Save the Combofix utility at any USB stick and move it to the computer with the problem. Run the file and follow the on screen wizard, be patient it may take some minutes depending on the system errors / trojans. Note that the Combofix utility is not aa antivirus program; it doesn't protect you from viruses/trojans. Combofix can clean your system from most of the viruses/trojans. Always use an updated antivirus software.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
