Can't watch movies in full screen view when running on battery

It might be on a power saving plan. You can change it if you want to but running it on battery while watching movies will drain the battery fast. Anyway, right-click the battery icon on lower right of the screen or search for power options. You can see what plans your laptop is saved to. Choose balanced or high performance or recommended settings.

Forgot password

You can reset a lost or forgot Windows password with 4 methods below:

1. Another valid administrator account which can normally log on.

2. A password reset disk or a repair disc, which is created in advance ( before you lost password ).

3. Third-party software to create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB, like Windows Password Breaker.

4. Re-install. Will lose data.

Window password forgot

If you have a password recovery disc that you have created then just stick that in your disc drive and it will be fine. However if you don't then all you can do is restart your computer or when you start it up keep pressing F8 (any computer). It will start the windows startup with the loading bar at the bottom and will then come up with A MENU. Select Repair My Computer. It will take you to another menu. Select the option which restores it to factory settings and wait. THIS WILL WIPE YOUR HARD DRIVE AND REINSTALL YOUR VERSION OF WINDOWS. NO INFORMATION IS RECOVERABLE. They are the 2 only ways. Good luck :)

I cannot go on facebook what do i do ?

There are several reasons you would not be able to access Facebook. One reason would be that the site has been blocked via a proxy. The best solution in this case is to talk to the system admin. If that is not possible and you are trying to circumvent a proxy designed to prevent access from social media sites (IE: you are in school or work) then you should wait until you get home to access the sites.

How do I undock the X 200 from the ultra base?

There is a keyed lock on the right hand side to the rear of the base. Once this is unlocked, pull the release lever out and towards the front. The release lever is on the left side of the base towards the front. This will release the laptop from the base which one should then lift directly up to separate the two components.

Xp200 power on password

Power On password The Power on Password and hard drive password is used to protect the laptop/computer and hard disk from unauthorized access. The hard drive password is setup in the BIOS you need the hard disk password to remove the password. I'm afraid you may have purchased a stolen laptop/computer. It is impossible to remove a hard drive's password there are no backdoor passwords because the password is stored in the hard drive's firmware. If the laptop/computer has a Power on Password then this laptop cannot boot up. If the hard drive is password protected then remove the existing drive, replace it with a new hard drive may fix the laptop/computer r BUT it may also set a password on the new hard disk and lock it with the same password. If it does not password protect the new hard drive, then install Windows plus laptop/computer's device drivers and programs to get a working laptop/computer.

My monitor wont work

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen
