How to close PC laptop lid with external monitor
You need to change the pc power settings, so closing the lid does not turn off the computer.
Open the Power settings by clicking on the battery icon in the bottom right hand of the screen.
Save the settings and it will stay on until you press the power key to turn it off.
Why won't my Dell Latitude e4300 power up
Exactly how far along does it 'go' in not starting back up? Do you get any actions at all when you hit the power button? Do any LED's light up? Can you press the test button on your battery and get any of the LED's there to light up? If the answers to these questions are NO, you might have a bad power supply. That would be the first place to look if you get no action at all. If you do get anything occurring when you press the power on button, then there are a whole series of questions a PC tech would go through to try and diagnose the problem. Not enough information here to go further.

1- Try to start your laptop in safe mode, normally Pressing F8 key when windows starts up2- After that Update drivers for your hardware from the site of your Laptop manufacture. Once there enter the model number OR service tag of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptop. Most black screen are hardware or driver related so updated drivers could fix the cause of the STOP error.3- Return BIOS settings to their default levels. An overclocked or misconfigured BIOS can cause all sorts of random issues, including black screen 4- If this didn't help you then simply get the Intel software partner Reginout to fix all the errors which causing Black screen

Start the laptop in safe mode and run System RestoreAfter that I will suggest you to update your drivers just go the site of your Laptop manufacture. Once there enter the model number OR service tag of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptopIf this didn't help you then it seems that there is registry problem with your OS. so simply get the Intel software partner Reginout to fix all the registry issues which are causing black screen.

You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site,
the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,
better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the
bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag
label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages,
the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the
specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select
the Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this

Turn on bluetooth
