How to slove system error(zoom) of my panasonic lumix dmc-fs15

You can't. it is cause by something blocking the gears or the lens being knocked to the side. Here is the online service formhttp://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/RequestCenter?storeId=15001&catalogId=11017

Lumix DMC-ZS19 system error focus

Here's a fix I got from Panasonic, I figured I would post this since I haven't seen this anywhere on the web and this post was the highest hit on google

Based on the information that you have provided, we suggest that you perform the following operation: 1. Turn off the camera 2. While off, turn the zoom button fully to the left or right (hold for about 3-5 secs) 3. Release then turn the camera back on... At this point in time the lens should retract. If it does not, repeat the previous steps however, press the zoom to the opposite direction than you did the first time around. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend the product be sent to our Customer Service Center.

This seems to work for me. The lens retracted back in place and my camera resumed working.

I want the date and time on my photos

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

How to slove system error(zoom) of my panasonic lumix dmc-fs15

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:

Lumix downloading to pc

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a lumix, model no dmc-fs15, and the photos keep coming out red. What could be the problem?

Hi Joanne:You can check menu settigns there? This pics/videos this appears under red color in the pc monitor after transference or download pics/videos at pc? If your answer is yes, your problem isn't a LCD problem. The other choice, could be a malfunctioning CCD (Charge Coupled Device) image sensor... in both cases (LCD or CCD) this isn't a job that you could solve yourself; this wrong include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card. I suggest check this link for additional details in this previous solutions for an Defective CCD and next contact your Panasonic service. Additionally, I strongly suggest (taking into consideration the age of your camera) to evaluate the cost of repair versus the cost of a new camera with similar features, before making a final desicion. In order to correct this issue, the repair facility needs to replace the CCD. Check this links that could give you additiona details: imaging-resource.com/badccdsHope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

System Error (Focus) ...Lumix DMC-FS15 works,

My camera started bringing up "system error (zoom)" and it was completely inoperable. I would turn it off, but the lens wouldn't retract unless I applied slight pressure to it. I was able to FIX this problem by applying some lubricant oil to a Q-tip and swiping it around the telescoping parts of the lens, being very careful to stay away from the actual lens. I turned the camera on and off a few times so the oil could work its way into the parts, and it fixed the problem. I don't know if it will be a long term solution, but I can at least download my pictures to my computer now!

Why do my landscape images have a blue tint?

Sounds like you have the "white balance" on the wrong setting. Try "auto white balance".
