NO TIENE SONIDO Apple iBook G4 12.1
It sounds like your sound is muted (SONIDA MUDA). Hopefully you can understand these instructions in english. My espanol es limitado.
Primero: SYSTEM PREFERENCES
SEGUNDO: SOUND then turn on internal speakers.
If that does not work, try spraying compressed air into the EARPHONE JACK. This will reset it back to internal. Sometimes small objects get stuck in the earphone jack and trick the computer into thinking that you have earphones plugged in all the time. I hope this helps you!
Imovie don't work
If your mac came with iMovie installed there should be an original copy on your OS Disc that came with the computer. When you go to install on the disc, you can select Custom options on the install and just select the files you wish to reinstall.

A unknown folder
If you're in Windows, you can just delete the files manually from the USB drive. Just make sure you checked 'Show hidden files' in 'Folder Options' so you can see them. However, that can get annoying fast. So, I recommend you download USBDriveFresher (it's free, no spyware, no viruses, no adware). It can automatically or manually delete those files as soon as you plug-in your USBdrive. You can adjust the settings as you wish, but it's already set to get rid of the MAC junk that you mentioned. See below for more information.
If you're in MacOSX, well, I'm not an expert yet for Macs. However, I believe you can download freeware programs for the Mac to view these files and then delete them. Perhaps Curb 1.0? Never tried it. But it's free and contains no spyware, etc. as guaranteed by Softpedia.com. Shouldn't hurt to try it.

Folder with a question mark at startup
That means the hard drive has gone out or the controller for it. You could take a chance and replace the hard drive or if you have a the warranty on the unit have apple fix it.
My macbook won't boot at all
Put the install disk that came with your laptop into your laptop, hopefully it might boot into the disk, what you have to do is hold down C until it boots. then fix the problem with utility manager.
I hope that works for you since the screen will not show the grey screen.
If this does not work, there may be something wrong with the screen or the firmware,
if that is true then i would suggest taking to your local Apple store and explain your problem to a mac genius and they will sort you out in no time.
Hope i have been helpful,
Regards
I dropped my mac lap top and the screen is a bit fuzzy, how can I fix it?
Thank for contacting Fixya, I will be glad to assist you. You cannot, without having a diagnostics performed by a certified Apple technician or Apple Authorized Service Provider. You may have damaged the video graphics card on the main logic board of your MacbookMacbook Pro.Unless you have knowledge on how to go in and physically troubleshoot this geniune hardware issue, I would recommend you do you to your local Apple retail store Genius bar, or Apple Authorized Service center near you and have your Macbook looked at.Just for your reference, I have taken the liberty to provide the store locator links to your local Apple Retail store as well as a general store locator for locating any local Apple Authorized Service center in your area.
Apple Retail Store(Genius bar - need to set appointment via this website link, if planning on visiting Apple store of choice in your immediate area)
Apple Authorized Service ProviderYou don't want to keep turning on the Macbook until you have it checked because it could affect more than just the video graphics card.Regards,-The MacTechTrainer.
I have a Sanyo Xacti 10 MP that records with date and time but when I put the SD card in my Apple laptop and download the videos, the date and time seems to not stay on the videos.
The date and time information may not be embedded in the video file itself, but rather in the metadata of the file. When you transfer the video from your camera to your computer, the metadata may not be transferred along with the video.
To preserve the date and time information on your downloaded videos, you can try the following:
- Use a video player that displays metadata: Some media players, such as VLC media player, allow you to view the metadata of a video file. If the metadata contains the date and time information, you may be able to view it using such a player.
- Transfer the video using a program that preserves metadata: Some file transfer programs, such as Image Capture on Mac, will preserve metadata when transferring files. You may try using such a program to transfer your videos.
- Use a metadata editor to add date and time information: You can try using a metadata editor, such as ExifTool, to add the date and time information to your video files.
It's worth noting that not all video file formats support metadata, so depending on the format of your video files, it may not be possible to preserve the date and time information.
