Sounds to me like a broken throttle cable try that.

Error 50 is a service error and you will need to contact your local computer repair or go to their site and talk to customer service to get someone to fix this for you.

You need to go into Set Mode and User Parameters
To do this press Function key and 7 to get Set Mode
Then press 1 for User Parameters and set, the first option is to set date and time, use the number pad to do this.

If the access code has not been changed it is 9920. If it has been changed, use ***1

on all these machines it is universally ***1

try a new toner, if not it could be fuser

Buy a double adapter so both cords go to the LINE port. Set your answering machine to 6 or 7 rings so the fax picks up first. Your fax machine will know the difference between voice and fax calls,

Go to www.oceusa.com, click drivers and support, find 9920 or 9930 in the dropdown list, look for manual link and download pdf file. any password you need will be your model no. 9930

Have you replaced the image unit lately? The toner disposal section of the cartridge fills up and then spills out causing this problem. The interior of your machine is probably caked with toner also, so when you replace cartidge, you need to clean inside machine also.

Good Luck, When the paper is stuck in the back, it is in the fuser and you may be able to get the paper out, but probably the drive for the fuser is messed up, which caused the jam in the 1st place, if you get the paper out, the next one through will probably jam up again. Technicians usually just replace the fuser. Oce is the repair entity for these machines now. 1 800 2423 5556
