My HP Core i5 is turning on and off.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to a HP Computer category. Normally an overheating issue. On a laptop, make sure it is on a hard surface and not on lap, bed or cushion. Vacuum or blow out the vents. On a desktop, remove the case, clean all the vents, make sure the fan spins and clean all the dust and fluff from the heatsink and fan with a clean 1" paint brush and vacuum or compressed air or preferably both.. Lots of other ideas here https://www.google.com/search?q=HP+Core+i5+is+turning+on+and+off ..

Hp dv6000 error Err2Err3

found it in a garage sale for $1? sure, it's old, and all old PC's die, lucky you the screen still works at all. (most do not) HP Pavilion dv6000 with horrible XP operating system, (virus magnet) 16 years old today, no hdd or battery lasted 16 years. the main large battery is dead. that old, so leave it out, run on AC power only until PC works right. next is that very dead RTC CMOS coin cell battery dead., this makes BIOS go crazy, and fail hard. when that fails it can not boot. the boot hDD , harddisk boot order is gone, in BIOS page of same name F11 will not work right if any things above bad. The HDD this old is no good.(that old) so it did no run for 16 long years and fail just not out of the blue. I bet it did not (unless serviced fully every 3 years) RTC battery is under bottommemory hatch page 127 https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1031591/Hp-Pavilion-Dv6000.html?page=127&term=rtc&selected=1#manual after a new battery (coin + pig tail type) f10 is the hot key for bios (power on , hammer F10)
  1. bios page 1 set time and date.
  2. set bios defaults.
  3. set PXE to disabled where seen.
  4. set boot order to hdd first.
  5. save
  6. exit bios, and cold boot PC and see HDD fail. as all do this old.
any PC shop can fix this, why not do that?

I want to buy the HP Laptop 17-cp0012nv (631N9EA). Does anyone know if it supports 32gb of ram and if I can add 2nd hdd? Is there any photo/video of the internal?

Not sure on the amount of RAM supported but this video shows how to tear down and put that notebook back together. Replacing the memory starts at about 2:17. I am an HP employee.

Hp Laptop, its only several months old ,and was not in use for a month now its not turning on.

I know this is an obvious question but is the laptop fully charged? Yes, I've done that. If it won't turn on it is often a power supply issue. Have you tried plugging the charge cable into the laptop and turning it on while it is connected to a wall socket? If it starts up, the battery is most likely low on charge.

First, I wanna thank you for your help. my model is Hp ProBook 450 G1 window 10 64 bit when I try to on WIFI it says we can't find wireless device on this pc

at home, work or at the airport (wifi)? wgn1, wild guess #1 , HOME ! (answering to home. well do all things wifi fail at home or just the G1. fails? if yes all fail, that is a wifi router problem. or forgot your log in credentials? No only G1 fails! did the G1 ever work for you at home everbefore??? hummmmmm buy used, and wifi dead? (history not told) did you know most old PCs have no wifi new this is a fact. it must be added, called a CARD (WIFI) 2014 made, 8 years old I see goons sell them used as new on amazoned. still used it is. sold new with on of these 4 HP allowed cards HP also bans, other cards (black listed by HP. (not good that)
  • Realtek 802.11 b/g/n (1x1)
  • Meditek 802.11 b/g/n (1x1) with Bluetooth v4.0 combo
  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (1 x 1 ) WiFi with Bluetooth 4.0 combo
  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260AN 802.11 a/b/g/n (2 x 2) WiFi with Bluetooth 4.0 combo
test #1, go to device manager and see what wifi card is there. or missing, totally.. the driver must be there and from HP.com or it will not work. If w10 plug and play fails. using wired ETHERNET cable to the router this PC never oncc came with w10 , only w7 or W8 so how did W10 get here.? but lucky you , HP does have w10 64bit wifi drivers here, in fact, all drivers of this PC.. https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-probook-450-g1-notebook-pc/5405421 so next you ask how to get them if WIFI is dead now. well 2 ways. use the ethernet port to a cable same name to the router port same name. or get the drivers, using a working internet PC and copy them to a thumb drive then move the thumb drive to dead wifi PC and load them, ( 1 driver it is and matches 1 of 4 cards) here is the hit list 1: the card must be there. 2: and be a HP card. (others do fail) 3: and a matching driver loaded.. card/driver/OS matched and HP matched.. 4: and connect,. works. now. using proper credentials wifi that is how the cookie crumbles..

Please can i use my Huawei Router with sim card integration , to recieve wifi signal on my pc without connecting it to a hp Switch device port using a lan cable ?

It is unclear given what information is provided. Your PC has a Network Adapter. If new enough, it may utilize protocols of both 5G and 2G wireless access points. If older, you would need a USB modem adapter to access 5G and have to configure the PC to use that adapter rather than the internal one. A router may be configured to show both 2G and 5G connections and yet the PC not show the 5G connection because of the Network Adapter . But regardless, when you are first setting up Wi-Fi, you need to connect router by Ethernet cable to the PC in order to login to the router home page where you will be entering the security keys for the 2G and 5G access points. That requires you know perhaps the router address and password, the default for which is generally on the bottom of the router. This can be rather daunting but one can look up how to setup the router by router brand for wireless as well as looking up the topic of wirelss networking. But you will first have to physically connect the router and laptop before you will ever be able to get WiFi without the cable. Your ISP technician might help.

PC Becoming Slow

PC Becoming Slow

I know that kind of feeling you feel when it takes like 5 minutes to open just an app. Well, this is another common computer problems people face in their daily lives. The root cause is usually due to the duration of how long you have been operating the PC. A computer that is older than 2 years will experience this, regardless of their specifications.

Solutions:

1. Find resource-hungry program

With your system full of programs, there will definitely be one or two programs that use lots of your resources, for instance, a ram. To find out, open the Task Manager. You can right-click your taskbar and select the "Task Manager" option or press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to open it. On Windows 8, 8.1, and 10. Click the "CPU," "Memory," and "Disk" headers to sort the list by the applications using the most resources. If any application is using too many resources, you might want to close it normally - if you can't, select it here and click "End Task" to force it to close.

2. Disable startup program

Autostart programs during system startup can be the major reason why your PC is slowing down. On Windows 8, 8.1, and 10, there's now a startup manager in the Task Manager you can use to manage your startup programs. Right-click the taskbar and select "Task Manager" or press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to launch it. Click over to the Startup tab and disable startup applications you don't need. Windows will helpfully tell you which applications slow down your startup process the most.

3. Scan for malware and adware

Day-to-day usage of computers can make you accidentally catch malware and adware. These are usually small malicious programs, caught from the internet when we browse or download something. These programs are designed to steal your information and to that, they have to transfer information over the internet, which can potentially slow down your system. To remove them, simply use your built-in anti-virus software to scan and detect.

HP AIO only comes up to OSD Window

3UR17AA <<<??? 2 years old? so the screen is 100% dead, after OSD? the bios hot key is dead.? forget windows, what about BIOS pages. this AIO has and option of GPU card, does hit have that? I guess you mean OSD name for bios? OSD is only inside monitors.external. or OSD means the HP splash screen F2 diagnostics work? and pass per the HP manual? page 41 removing that coin cell first. was a bad idea, now all bios setting are lost, and now must be replaced, bit by bit. power on the PC and hammer esc. key this is the bios hot key, and then see the other keys prompted F2 is diagnotics the manual is crazy hard to understand, (even show things that do not exits) https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-all-in-one-pc-32-a1000i/32482438/model/35865675/manuals HP offers no service manual here. sad that. better Esc + F2 diag, in order. https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-all-in-one-pc-32-a1000i/32482438/model/35865675/document/ish_3974055-5915181-16 this fake desktop AIO, has huge 280 watt power brick pack/. that must be only used for this PC and not mixed up with others. and connections checked to it, carefully but the ESC key i first, if this makes BIOS work then we work from there as did kill all BIOS settings at coin pull. and the 2 year old coin was good. good cluck fixing any AIO PC. this the ESC menu. HP classic. f2 is first. diag then if diag passes next is F10 we then , in the F10 main bios pages do this. do the bios reset. to factory defaults. then set time and date and any instances of PXE to off (disabled) last the boot order pages, set to windows manager, first this new name means boot drive, (UEFI) save exit and cold boot the pc POWER BUTTON HELD FOR 10 Seconds and released. FIY, the F11 key is the windows 10 reload image, feature. (avoid this on a 2 year old PC, windows is ok but bios settings are lost. aio-undefined-undefined-0_2.jpg

I have an HP all in one that has a corrupt OS win 10as well a blank hard drive

If you are not conversant with machine code, the computer will not know what to do. Get your windows disc,USBkey or whatever you have as a bootable system disk and place it in the relevant socket/DVD drive. Set the boot preference to the device you wish to boot from and as you restart the computer, it will boot from the instalation media you have plugged/connected in. Follow the onscreen instructions.
