There should be a "master" reset button hidden on the unit somewhere. It is likely behind a very small hole that you could push a straightened out paper clip into. If you find the hole, turn the TV on and then push the button in until the TV turns off. When it restarts it should allow you to program the TV.
if auto channel scan finds nothing , then your tv isn't receiving a strong enough signal to display , and it will not go any further than that , you can though select another type input (hdmi ?) and after providing a proper signal to that input it should display that picture

Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
Were you ever able to figure this out? My wlement tv remote isn't working and I can manually switch to different sources but I am unable to select without the remote.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.
