Screen Adjust

You can't. There are no adjustments for height and width. Not all programs were shot on 16 x 9 wide screen resolution so it will leave the screen with black spaces . around the edges. Nothing wrong with the TV, and nothing you can do other than the zoom buttons you use now.

U-Verse Remote TV codes not listed

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. http://homenol.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Programming Notes • If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote. • Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality. This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts.

Great picture but no sound

Do you get sound from the TV speakers alone? If using an HDMI cable, try swapping it out with one you know for sure is good. Sounds trivial but a lot of junk cables out there. Otherwise, re-check your connections again. I went to a friends place once to help out when he was positive it was all connected correctly, only to find he had the Right channel (red wire) connected to the component video. Anyway....it happens.

If audio [sound] is OK, the fault should be with its back-light section circuit. Without more details about the problem you faces with this TV; I can't give you more hints. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

TRYING TO HOOK UP HEADPHONES,IS IT CAPABLE.

Hello, IF your tv is capable of using headphones it will have a little jack with a head phone symbol over it or under it most likely. IF not you can buy a home theater system which would hook up to your tv and some of these have an option to hook up headphones or even ipods and usb devices.

Dp19648 not getting digital signal

Your question made little sense (which is why you got no responses). I assume by now either the cable company fixed your problem or you bought a new set. In the future, provide more detail. BTW, just for the record, there are no digital inputs on a DP19648 television. Everything is analog. If one wanted to connect an HDMI source to a DP19648, they could use an HDMI-to-Composite Adapter (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P7RL5C8 ).

HAS GREAT PICTURE....BUT NO SOUND

LOL On my DP19638 I have good sound and no picture. Sadly, no one works on these any more (as the hourly rate quickly exceeds the replacement value). And, getting parts is a "female dog" anyhow. If warranty is up, hit the stores for a new set. I like Vizio and Samsung myself.

How do I auto program without a remote

You can't. Get in touch with Sanyo or search eBay. It is possible that one of the universal remotes might work. Good luck.

Need original remote

Not sure, but have you tried getting a universal remote and programming it with a sanyo code? If this is not an option you can get MFR. remotes on ebay, but they might be costly. I went to ebay and did a search on "DS27930". I found one seller, but there was a least one. $34.95 for a remote sounds high to me.

How can I turn on power on Sanyo DP19648 without a remote control

You can't power it ON; without a remote control. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.

This model does not have an HDMI jack. what type of adaptor should I use to get my HDMI to work?

Fear not, this E-More® High Quality 1080p HDMI to Composite / AV S-Video Converter RCA CVBS/L/R Video Converter Adapter will work just fine. I've been using two (one for the WiiU and one for the accursed Samsung Blu-Ray Player). It has a fairly extensive setup menu and was even able to adapt both of those 1080p sources to my ancient 720p HDTV without any problems. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P7RL5C8

My "sharp" tv green power light blinks but has no sound or picture

Likely a power board issue. Check that the caps on this board are blown, and replace with the exact parts. This can be a $10 fix.

Sanyo dp19648 remote won't work

You have narrowed it if a universal works but the original does not--95% of the time the remote can be fixed.I can point you at what to look for---I will post a link to a tip of mine here on this site--if you have questions let me know.http://www.fixya.com/support/r4037663-repair_remote_control_not_workingIn addition remote problems fall usually into three areas:1. something got spilled on remote2. remote was dropped and the little led that sends signal is broken from the board or another solder connection was cracked.3 issues with the battery connections dirty or loose.
