I have done this before. The speaker caused your green tint. The only way I was able to fix mine was with a magnet. I was able to get the green to the bottom corner of the screen. But be fair warned using a magnet can also make it worse to. The best thing to do is bring it to a repair shop and have them fix it for you.

As you have a SDTV. Which means you don't have any VGA input port. You will need to install a graphics card that has S-Video option, with that you'll require a S-Video cable. Thats it that your TV can be used as a Monitor.

You have bad capacitors in the vertical deflection. And you will have to resolder the vertical IC as well. Replace the caps in the area of the vertical IC. Find a TV tech or hobbiest to do this!

You need the sheet that came with the remote. If the manufacturer's codes do not work with your ??, then you need a more modern remote. The codes must ALREADY be in the remote to be used. The code is part of the REMOTE.

Sound like the TV is set to AIR not Cable setting.

here are the codes for a phillips universal remote for your tv 0421 1608 1004 1903 0216 0520 1515 and 1912 if you have a phillips universal remote thats fairly new like 2008 i believe then all you have to do is hold the setup or codesearch button until it turns red and enter in the four digit code hope this info. helps

I searched the web and found the code 8202. That unlocked the V-chip!!!!

Check the onscreen menu and make sure the internal speakers are turned on.

On the original TV remote locate the audio button toward the bottom of the remote.

Press this button until the tv shows MAIN and this should get the tv audio back to English as long as the program is in English.

If you are connected through a cable box there may be an additional setting within it as well. If you are using a cable box feel free to repost with the manufacturer of the box (IE Motorola).

Here is how to try and get them back if they are available.
On the original TV remote do the following-
1. Press the MENU button
2. Use the channel down button to select channel set
3. Select channel add/delete
4. Press volume up
5. Select channel you want to add by using the channel up/down buttons on remote.
6. When you get to the channel you want use the Volume up button and the color of the channel number should become either blue or green if it is added and it will be red if it is deleted.
7. Repeat until you have added all the channels you feel you are missing.
8. Press MENU button to exit.
If the channels are still available this should get them to return. If not contact you cable provider to see if they have moved some of their channels recently or check their web site for the current channel line up.

Use either the front or rear A/V Input connectors with a RCA jacks A/V cable .

No problem. Just use the Composite/Yellow/RCA jack output from the player to your TV.
Most players spit out standard video through an RCA jack while at the same time sending the HD signal out the YUV or DVI port.
